Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 2022 Champion of the Year Gala!.

This year marks the fifth year of Best Buddies in Oregon!

The past few months have been marked by much anticipated growth. Best Buddies Oregon has added on two new staff members—myself, the new Area Director for Oregon, and Grace Goldman, who has joined us as a Lead Program Manager. Though I have only been on staff for a short time, I have joined in on chapter meetings at local high schools. a Fun Run (pictured above), virtual hangouts and a Mod Pizza fundraiser, just to name a few!

I am thrilled to be part of such a welcoming and passionate group. As a mom of a special needs child, the mission of this organization strikes a chord with me, as I know it does with many others who are here tonight.

Thank you for joining us this evening to celebrate the work of Best Buddies, and the dedication of our Champions, and to join in helping us fundraise for the year ahead.

2021 Champion of the Year

Logan Stromberg

Logan Stromberg has been involved with Best Buddies International in Oregon since 2018. Most recently, he became a Global Ambassador for Best Buddies International.

Logan is a college student, self-advocate, and employee at the Olive Garden in Lake Oswego. This year is Logan’s second year as a Best Buddies Champion Candidate. Last year he was crowned Grand Champion, raising over $20k for Best Buddies programs in Oregon.
