The image stabilization is amazing along with many of the other features in the camera. Almost all pictures come out amazing so I really do not have many negative points on this camera. The one thing I do wish the camera had is more customizable settings (mostly shutter speed). The only thing that is manually adjustable is ISO and even that is a pain to adjust from the menu. Overall though, it is an amazing camera and highly recommended for anyone who can live without controlling every setting manually. Best digi cam I’ve owned yet! By Eric A. Vasallo (Miami, Florida United States) The quality is much better than i’ve ever had with it’s 14 megapixels. the image stabilization is superior and i am a person that has very shaky hands. the zoom is amazing without loss of clarity and focus. overall i am completely impressed with the camera and it is the best one i’ve had yet. i’ve used over 4 different digicams and this one overall for price, ease of use and image quality is the best! highly recommend. Userfriendly and super functional By Mehmet Celbi (Chicago, IL) We’ve always had Nikon digital cameras, and we bouth the S8000 as an upgrade of our old Nikon; wow what a difference. It takes great pictures, (I love the panoramic picture tool) and videos and the new accesories make it easy to download. I plugged in the 8gb memory which is great because during long trip, I didn’t want to worry about sufficient memory space. I am definitely sticking with Nikon for digital cameras.
