Viru Burger
Smashed burger from a fine dining chef
Viru Burger started as a summer popup restaurant located on the roof of the Viru Keskus shopping centre. Today it has expanded to three locations: in the Volta House and Mustamäe Centre in Tallinn, as well as Tartu city centre. American-style smashed burgers, which have been made in the U.S. for almost 70 years are on the menu: the burger patties are cooked on a flattop grill under a special weight. The burgers are particularly juicy when prepared this way. Like in any proper burger, the meat, condiment and salad are well-balanced. The meat arrives at the restaurant from South Estonia. The sauces are made on-site. And the buns are baked fresh every day. In addition to the classics, the menu also includes an Animal-Style Burger with bacon that is flavoured maple syrup, a Truffle Burger with truffle mayonnaise and a vegetarian Scamburger.
