Tallinn
A trend-conscious shopping city
Tallinn is a wonderful destination for the responsible shopper. In the city’s modern shopping centres, as well as the stores dedicated to local design and crafts, you will find internationally acclaimed products that value recycling and responsible consumption while also supporting local creators. To get acquainted with traditional Estonian handicrafts, visit the Estonian Handicraft House in the Old Town on Pikk Street or the Kaarmann store next to the town hall. In Catherine’s Passage and the Masters’ Courtyard, the most attractive handicraft quarters in the Old Town, you’ll find both cosy shops and active workshops. The Tallinn Design House in the Rotermann Quarter and the Estonian Design House with their shops on Suur- Karja Street and the Solaris Shopping Centre are dedicated to presenting the work of local designers. Exciting design shops can also be found in the Telliskivi Creative City and Kalamaja district.
