As we wrap up a great year of racing, I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to the racers, fans, sponsors, volunteers and staff who have helped Best In The Desert maintain our position as the premier off -road racing experience. 2022 was an exciting year for Best In The Desert with dynamic events, live stream coverage, and growth throughout the organization. There will be exciting new challenges coming for racers, fans, and sponsors in 2023. Highlights of the past year included our six expansive race events in Arizona and Nevada, widely viewed CBS Sports Network broadcasts, Streaming produced by Jetwerx, and the vastly increased exposure our series experienced. My thanks to the crew from Jetwerx that produced our Live Streaming on RydeTV, and the CBS Sports Network broadcasts of the Vegas to Reno race. It was an exciting two-show package, packed with action, interviews, insight and some of the best motorsports action sequences ever witnessed in off -road racing. While you’re checking out this fourth quarter issue of DirtVenture for 2022, take some time to enjoy the stunning photography, great race coverage, and get ready for 2023 with our six-series schedule. Speaking of 2023, we have a great lineup of past favorite events and locations, plus a new one, coming in February. When you choose to race with Best In The Desert, you get the best of all seasons for racing. Looking ahead, we have some very exciting new courses, additional live streaming, broadcasts on CBS Sports Network, new sponsors, and a whole lot more to look forward to! My brother Daryl and I couldn’t wrap up the year without thanking the many, many people who have supported Best In The Desert in 2022. Our sincere thanks to all the racers, in every class, who have chosen to compete in Best In The Desert events. A big thank you to all our sponsors who off er not only their fi nancial support, but attend the races and work diligently with racers to make their experience with Best In The Desert a positive one. Hundreds of volunteers and our friends at the BLM help us maintain a managed environment for racers, their crews, their families, and the sponsors at every event.
