The owner sits down and then thinks 'hmmm what can i write about today'. This is the wrong way to go about it. If your blog appears professional and the posts follow each other in an easy to follow sequence, your chances of grabbing your visitor's attention and of them coming back for the next installment are much higher. Blogging for Profits tip 3: You need to advertize your blog. Yes blogs are indexed pretty quickly by the search engines but this does not mean that they will have high rankings when indexed. You need to make some effort to advertise your blog and let the world know about it. Blogging for profits tip 4: Apply Search engine optimization methods to each and everyone of your posts. This is so important in getting your posts to rank high in the search engines. Blogs that you come across on the first page of the search engines for their search terms do not happen to get there by accident. A lot of effort has been put in to get the ranking and maintain their position. This includes good SEO. Blogging for profits tip 5: Have an opt in form on your blog. Capture your visitor's email addresses by offering them some valuable freebie. That way you can contact them long after they have left and probably forgotten about your blog.
