B&E Sportswear July Student of the Month: Michael Hannig

B&E Sportswear is proud to name Michael Hannig their Student of the Month for July. Michael just graduated last month from Marple Newtown High School. As part of this award, Michael will receive a $100 Wawa gift card, courtesy of B&E Sportswear.

Michael was very proud to say that he spent three of his four years at school swimming for the Marple Newtown High School Swim Team.

He is also very proud of his achievement in participating in Mini THON this year. Mini THON is a branch of THON originally started by Penn State. Participants and teams dance all night and receive donations from sponsors to raise money for cancer research. Michael participated with Marple Newtown High School to raise $43,651.02 at this year's event. Wow! Congrats Michael and Marple Newtown High School!

Additionally, throughout high school, Michael worked as a student council member. He also developed his leadership skills as an Interact member and participated in many community service activities in the four years.

Everyone at Newtown Square Friends & Neighbors sends congratulations to Michael for this recognition. We wish Michael all the best on his college journey ahead!
