Robots in Newtown Square?

Our Community feature by Sheila Turner-Hilliard

Forget an alien invasion. We’re here to report that robots have descended on Newtown Square, and it looks like they’re here to stay!

Rumors have been flying all around town about what this means for our residents and our future. Where did they come from? What are they doing here? How will these robots affect our lives? You’ll be relieved to know that a thorough investigation was launched and the results led us straight to The Niemeyer Corporation.

What does a store that sells lawn equipment have to do with robots, you ask? For that information, we turned to our Sponsor Karl Niemeyer for some answers.

Robotic lawn mowers have been popular in Europe for some time now,” explained Karl. “We’re just starting to see the rise in popularity here.

Robotic lawn mowers work the same as robotic vacuums. They are automated machines that will trim your lawn without any assistance from you. Once you perform the initial setup, you can set the schedule and even the length of the cut! Karl added that when you purchase a robotic lawn mower from The Niemeyer Corporation, they will survey your lawn, install an invisible fence boundary and program the machine for you.

Aside from being ultra-convenient, there are a few more benefits to leaving your traditional lawn mower behind. Just like all-electric vehicles, robotic lawn mowers are powered by electricity. They do not require any gas or motor oil to run, making them an environmentally friendly alternative.

You can schedule these “set-it-and-forget-it” devices to cut from an app on your phone! Going on vacation? No problem! There’s nothing like coming home to the look and smell of fresh-cut grass.

And these robots feel the need for speed! Robotic lawn mowers are also timesavers because they can make turns more easily than a traditional lawn mower. Just set it, forget it, and enjoy watching your new machine zip around the yard!

LET YOUR LAWN MOWER DO ALL THE WORK!

Robotic lawn cutting is here to stay -- because it works (so you don't have to).

Come in and see how a robotic lawn mower will learn your yard's mow area with the help of a dealer-installed boundary wire (like an invisible dog fence). Your grass will look great!
