Bethany Law Club visits Washington D.C.
The group in Washington D.C. with legal studies professors Sara Edwards and Dan Birkholz, who organized the trip.
A group of nineteen Bethany students traveled to Washington D.C. over the 2021 Midterm Break where they visited the Supreme Court, the White House, and many other museums and monuments. The group consisted of Bethany Law Club members, legal studies students, and members of the Bethany Mock Trial team. Bethany’s Law Club is open to any student with an interest in law-related careers. They meet to discuss legal matters, host guest speakers, and hold several law-related events throughout the year. This is the second time the Law
Club has visited D.C., the last time being in 2018. The Club planned to return in 2020, but COVID-19 restrictions forced them to put the trip off to this year. Legal Studies Professors Sara Edwards and Dan Birkholz organized the trip and plan to continue offering students the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. on a biennial basis.
