BUILDING OUR FUTURE SPECIAL BUILDING PRESENTATION SUNDAY FEBRUARY 15TH MORNING SERVICE The leadership of Bethel has been working on plans to do a major renovation to the upstairs area of the church. This renovation is to provide a new fresh look and space for both our children and youth ministries, utilizing both the current space and the undeveloped expansion space that was part of our 2009/2010 renovation. The need is very apparent. Our rooms upstairs are not providing adequate space for our current ministry programs. As well, the upstairs area has become very run down and is not attractive to new people with children to our church. We can and need to do better as we see the Lord continue to bring a bountiful harvest of precious people including children and youth to Bethel (Psalm 65:11). On Sunday, February 15th, Pastor Tim will be presenting the full renovation plan to our church as part of our morning service. This presentation will include the drawings of the renovation, as well as outline the reasons for this project and the benefits. Also Pastor will share concerning the finances and our vision to see how this project will go forward. This a very important Sunday as we take what we believe are the next steps forward as a Church family. Pastor & the Elders will be in the lobby following that morning service, and for the following two Sundays, to answer any questions you might have. For those who are official members of Bethel, we will give opportunity

for you to express your vote of support for this project at our Annual meeting which will take place immediately following our Sunday morning service on March 1st. Rev. David Hazzard, who serves as our Assistant General Superintendent for the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, has agreed to help us as a consultant for this project. David has helped a good number of our churches in our denomination with their building/ renovation projects with good success. He believes in our project, and has reviewed both our renovation plan and financial plan and believes we are in a good position to move forward in this project. Pastor Tim will share more about his role on Sunday, February 15th. David will also be with us to share his heart for the local church and this project on Sunday, February 22nd. This is a step of faith for us but our leadership at Bethel believes that this is the right time to take this step. It truly is an investment for our future. Please make an effort to be with us for our special presentation Sunday, “Building Our Future,” on Sunday, February 15th in the morning service. Believing that our best and brightest days are yet before us. - The Leadership of Bethel Church

What An Opportunity! Right here within the walls of Bethel are incredible opportunities to make an eternal difference right now in lives while impacting the future of the Church. That’s what serving in Kids Ministry is, it’s not babysitting, it’s not childcare; it’s an investment in the spiritual foundation of our kids. We currently are in need of people to say “Yes!” to the honor of serving God and children, here’s why you should prayerfully considered joining our Kids Ministry team: - Jesus asks us to serve, disciple, and to bring kids to Him. - It’s not just serving kids, it is ministry to families, allowing parents to worship while knowing their kids are well cared for. - It’s an opportunity to serve God with other members of your Church family, getting to know other people who call Bethel home.

- It’s fun! - Kids are deserving of our attention, care, love, investment, & time. - The future of the Church will be determined by what we do now to build up faith in the next generation. We are in need of volunteers in our Nursery, Toddler Room, Preschool and Elementary classrooms on a once every 6-week rotation. A Police Check and attending a yearly Plan to Protect session is a requirement for all volunteers. To sign up to help stop by the Welcome Desk and fill out an Interest Card or speak to a member of our Kids Ministry team. - Pastor Trish

Love ukraine month In 2012 and 2013 Bethel sent teams to Ukraine to introduce over 500 orphans to the love of Jesus. Each day as we taught Bible stories, made new friends, and gave countless hugs, we fell in love with the kids & their country. In 2 summers we saw hundreds of children and teenagers respond to the Gospel & receive Jesus as their Savior. Leaving was always the hardest part, but the blessing for us was knowing that the work would continue and the seeds that were planted would be watered. Right now in city called Kivy Rog, a woman named Lena who served alongside us those 2 summers is continuing to teach those same kids that we met at the camp. Every week she goes into multiple orphanages to teach the Bible and do crafts and games with the kids. And her salary is supported simply by the generous contribution of our congregation. This year in May we are returning to Ukraine to work in 3 of those orphanages. And we want to bless them… big time! We want to come with the message of the love of Jesus that is backed up by a tangible act of love. And here’s how you can help. This February we are asking you to join in our Love Ukraine month. Over 4 weeks we want to raise $10,000 to go towards paying Lena’s salary for another year and to make some big changes in the orphanages. We want to be able to show up on their doorstep and bless them by fixing their kitchen, or repairing their roof, or buying washing machines, whatever they need. I know $10,000 sounds like a lot, but if everyone gave a $5 a week for the next 4 weeks we would reach our goal. That’s the change in your pocket right. A little really can go a long way. So let’s prepare our hearts, and our wallets, and let’s love Ukraine this February.

LETTER RECEIVED JAN 22ND FROM LENA TARAN, DIRECTOR OF OUR SMALL GROUP OUTREACH TO UKRAINE ORPHANAGES UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ED DICKSON, LOADS OF LOVE. Dear Pastor Tim, Pastor Tricia and Bethel Church! We are so thankful to you for the ability you have given us, to dream big! Our ministry has a vision from God - to abundantly bless the orphans and other children we serve in Ukraine! The blessing that you started at summer camps is still going strong! We have expanded to the point where we are now holding multiple children’s services in five different institutions in Krivoy Rog – 1) The Children’s Rehab Centre; 2) The Sunrise Boarding School; 3) The Pearl Orphanage; 4) The dormitory for underprivileged children; and 5) the Children’s Psychological Hospital. Our children’s services consist of Bible lessons, crafts, and games. Each service is a small celebration for our children! Just imagine you were a child, studying in the morning and living the rest of the day between the same walls. Then, in the midst of these monotonous days the happy servants of the Lord arrive! We try our very best to make our services interesting and bright so that the lessons would be like a holiday for kids, and live in their memory for a long time. The children and teachers are always waiting, excitedly, for us. Recently we focused on: You are unique, The Ten Commandments, and Don’t give up, you can achieve your dreams! Our lessons are given in the form of a game and watching interesting videos. For example, on the theme, “Don’t give up, you can achieve your dreams”, we took one of the dreams, inspired by the children, and taught them how to achieve it! Thank the God for our dear friends in Canada!

The Doors Are Open! What powerful and timely words that were brought to our church through our Encounter services in January with the prophetic ministry of Tracy Stewart and Jan Painter. On the Friday night service, Jan Painter told the church: “As soon as I walked into the Sanctuary I saw doors all around and they were all open and the King of Glory was coming through each door!” What Jan did not know is that for the first 14 days of 2015 I had put 15 signs around the Sanctuary of the church. These signs served as prayer stations for areas we were believing God for. These were the prayer signs I put on the walls of our church: 1. Souls 2. Healing 3. Church Ministries 4. Sarnia & Lambton County 5. Encounter Services 6. Spiritual Warfare 7. Israel 8. Financial Provision 9. Revival in Canada 10. Prophetic Fulfillment

11. First Nations 12. Marriages & Family 13. Youth Generation 14. Missions 15. Leadership What a powerful prophetic encouragement for our church as the Word came to us that the King of Glory was coming through for us in each of these areas! Personally I desire to continue to press into this special season that I believe God is bringing to us at Bethel. My heart is so desirous for all that God has for us. The Word to us has also been to keep persevering. We have been asking, seeking and knocking and the Lord has opened the doors to us. Now we continue to press in with thanksgiving and joy! I plan to continue each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12PM - 1PM and 6PM 7PM in prayer. I invite you to join me! - Pastor Tim Gibb

AS SOON AS I WALKED INTO THE SANCTUARY I SAW DOORS ALL AROUND THE ROOM AND THEY WERE ALL OPEN! - JAN PAINTER, JAN 16TH

7 Words for 2015 from Tracy Stewart Given at Bethel on Sunday Jan 18th

1. A Supernatural Season of Grace and Favour! A Season of Advancement! The tide is about to be turned and only God can make it happen! 2. You will experience like never before God’s tangible presence that will be clearly evident on your life to all around. 3. You are going to see a clear way forward. God is going to drop strategies for Monday morning on your life. A natural plan is going to come to your life. Doors that have never been opened before will swing open for you with ease. 4. You are going to experience tremendous testimonies of the saving power of God. You will see salvations that could never happen before. God is going to step in supernaturally and you are going to hear the testimonies of people. Hundreds and thousands of people are going to encounter the supernatural power of God, and be radically and completely saved this year. Twenty years of intercession will be answered in one day.

5. Not only favour with God (tangible presence, prayers answered) but favour with man. It’s going to shock you at who God uses. So you have to take the limit off of how you think and what you think, becuase God is about to move on the sinner to get you what you need for your assignment to be fulfilled in your life. 6. This is what is happening right now. You are in a season of a fresh commitment to personal revival and personal wholeness. Things that aren’t right are going to be made right. Things that have held you bound, personally, will let you go. 7. As a result of the above there will be a fresh passion to build the kingdom of God. There will be an advancement of the kingdom of God like never before, not only in Sarnia, but Ontario and every Province of Canada. This will be so contagious it’s going to be pandemic in the Spirit realm. Everyone is going to be effected by this. Your passion is going to run rampant through the body of Christ.
