ith more than 77 million Baby Boomers entering their senior years, providing innovative, compassionate care and supportive living environments to older adults is more important than ever. As demand grows, today’s and tomorrow’s long term care facilities and services will require leaders with skillsets shaped by state-of-the-art science and business knowledge.
Graduates of the Master of Long Term Care Administration program are suited specifically for administrative careers and leadership roles in long term care organizations, including: ▪▪ Retirement communities ▪▪ Residential care facilities ▪▪ Assisted living facilities
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS The 28-unit Master of Long Term Care Administration program can be completed either on campus or online. Subjects covered in the program’s required and elective courses—including those offered in conjunction with the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, the USC Leventhal School of Accounting, and the USC Marshall School of Business—include: ▪▪ Legal and Regulatory Environment of Long Term Care ▪▪ Counseling Older Adults and Their Families ▪▪ Management of Long Term Care Organizations
ADMISSION Admission to USC is competitive and is handled through the USC Graduate Admission Application (gradadm.usc.edu/apply). Prospective gerontology students must complete the Gerontology Supplemental Application section of the Graduate Application in order to be eligible for merit-based financial aid.
