CareBag, Inc. Now Offers Mobile Hygiene Pantry

For many parents and heads of households in our community, the struggle to afford household necessities takes an emotional toll on them and their families. These items are critical to preserve one’s sense of self-dignity and personal respect.

It is getting increasingly difficult for many households to afford the basic necessities. Federal nutrition programs such as SNAP and WIC focus solely on food. Participants in these programs cannot use those benefits for personal hygiene items. Food pantries and meal providers do not have the means to offer other assistance, yet the humble request for something as simple as toilet paper is there.

The new Carebag Mobile Hygiene Pantry is the first CMHP in the state of Florida. It was created to help bridge the gap for some of our local families. It serves Treasure Coast residents who have trouble affording basic non-food necessities that are considered critical to health and wellbeing. These include both personal care and baby care items.

“We are very thankful for all of the local businesses and organizations that have partnered with us to make this happen,” stated Rozanne Brown, Founder and CEO. The list includes Public Defender’s Office, Lowe’s Store in Jensen Beach, Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market 7299 and 100 Women who Care Treasure Coast, Dyer Auto Group, Southern Eagle Distribution, Napa Auto Parts, Groza Builders, Two men & a Truck, FPL, Toshiba, Center State Bank, ECP Event Group, Tradition Town Hall, Southwestern Consulting, Waste Pro, Bonner Mobile Bar, McGarr Insurance, Sunshine Laundry, SpeedPro Imaging, Von Ohlen Team Panera, Tonya Lowe State Farm, St. Lucie Jewelry & Coins Treasure Coast Lexus Toshiba Business solutions
