A PIECE OF ADVICE…
Dear Aunt Abby, Hi my name is Ramon, I am 27 years old and this Christmas I will be alone because I live in Germany. I got a scholarship here for 4 years. My family lives in Guatemala and I can´t return; If I had gotten a flight three days before, now I would have been in my house with my parents. But the real situation is that I could not got a ticket for any flight because my health was very bad, and now I can´t find any flight to Guatemala because the weather makes it impossible, I am very homesick and I will be alone this Christmas; I don´t have idea of what I could do, also my friends from here returned to their countries, what could I do in these dates? The Curse of the forest t was a story in 1870 about a child; his name was Rod, So Rod lived with his mother in a little house. The house was in the middle of a forest pulled apart of the town, his mother. Martha, worked in a bakery and she always used to get some cookies and bread for her little child; Martha was very beautiful, she was 24 years old, sadly her husband disappeared in the forest some years ago, he was a forest ranger and nobody knows where he is, the scarce clues indicate that he fell in the river when he was finding firewood; Rod had a dog and his name was Dobby. Dobby was big and brown. It was very obedient with Martha and Rod.

Rod had to stay alone every day in his house because his mother had to leave the house very early and returned very late every day; one day at night (as everyday) Rod and Dobby were waiting for Martha, Martha had to walk a lot to go to her house, she usually arrived to her house very late at night. That night, the time passed and passed and Martha never came, so Rod decided to leave out to find his mother, Rod started to walk with Dobby to the town, the path was very long, Rod had a gas lamp and it was all the light in all the forest; Rod and Dobby were walking when in the middle of the night they heard a scream, it was Martha; in that moment
Dobby started to run and Rod started to run and to scream “Mom”. They were running for some minutes and in the middle of the forest they found a shoe that belonged to Martha and a broken gas
lamp, in that moment Dobby started smelling the floor and as quickly as it could, Dobby Started running and barking. Rod continued Screaming “mom” with tears in all his face, Rod followed Dobby for a lot of time until Dobby stopped in front of an old abandoned house. Rod decided to get in the house, in that moment Dobby smelled something so Dobby stopped smelling and it started barking very strongly. Rod was scared but he started to find his mother in the house. The situation was horrible, Rod and Dobby were alone in the abandoned house; Rod was trying to find his mother in all the house. Dobby continued barking but it didn´t help. Suddenly a spectrum appeared. It was a black body that made Dobby begin to cry. Rod shouted loudly and as fast as they could, they escaped from the house, but the spectrum started to follow them. Only the light of the stars could help both in the middle of the night because the gas lamp didn’t have gas. They continued running, trying to escape of the spectrum suddenly, they were next to the river, the same place were Rod´s father died, supposedly. So Dobby in a opportunity tried to attack the spectrum but the spectrum killed the dog. Rod listened to the last bark of his Dog when he could, he knew who the spectrum was. It was the Forest demon. Rod decided to jump to the river and in that way, he finished with his life. The legend says that the Forest demon always tries to get the sad soul; the people of the town say that Rod and Dobby are still in the forest, trying to find Rod´s parents, and all the nights, Rod´s shout and Dobby´s barks sounds in the middle of the forest.

Q: W HAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE GIFTS ON CHRISTMAS EVE? I think that giving presents on Christmas Eve isn´t wrong, but we have to be intelligent and find in ourselves that the Christmas Eve is to celebrate the birth of Jesus; and also we have to remember that the best present in Christmas is Christ in our life. Q.¿W HAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CELEBRATING NEW YEAR? This activity is important because society has to celebrate the goals and blessings of the year that ended and pray for the new year, to ask for blessings and new opportunities and also try to be better in any aspect.
Q: W HAT DO YOU DO ON CHRISTMAS EVE? That day, is maybe the most important day for me and the church, I do the mass at the Vatican at midnight to celebrate the birth of Jesus, and the community of the church waits in the Vatican all night and morning of the 25th. Q: W HAT DO YOUT THINK ABOUT CHRISTMAS TREES? Christmas trees are just a good ornament for these dates, but I don´t see any relation of this tradition with the birth of Jesus; It isn´t important for me.

I hate when my family is in the living room chatting on their phones in the Christmas Eve, I wish that my family could forget the cellphones and try to share this time with games or just for talking. #I_Hate_On_Christmas
I hate when people think that the most important thing of Christmas are the $#)=)!/# presents!, these times are for staying with the family and trying to celebrate the birth of Jesus; I wish there were a society that could forget all the material world and try to be happy with general things. #I_Hate_On_Christmas
I hate that people buy all the things at the last minute, that is why in Christmas Eve the Super Markets are full and I can´t buy little things that night like snacks or drinks; I wish that those days the Streets and Supermarkets could be Empty of people. #I_Hate_On_Christmas
I hate when people burn fireworks and later they don´t clean the Street; Sometimes, in front of my house, there is a lot of garbage after midnight. I wish that my neighbors and their children could clean in front of my house after of burn their f***** fireworks. #Fk_neighbors
