Maximum Flexibility Adjustable for each dynamic headphone and music player. By using the gain selector switch on the device you can adjust the A 2 to any player. By using the impedance selector switch you can set the A 2 to the impedance of your headphone.
Plug and Play Connects easily to any player – convenient remote control. Simply connect it with an RCA phono cable to a player and turn it on. Control the music with the supplied remote control from your favourite place.
Discrete Electronics Discrete electronics for best audio reproduction. The audio electronics of the A 2 is fitted by hand with discrete (i.e. individual components that are optimised for their respective task. They do need more room than integrated components, but unwanted interaction between the components are avoided in this way. The result is a precise and detailed sound.
Share Music Two parallel headphone outputs. With two parallel headphone outputs two people can enjoy music at any time. Either with their partner or hi-fi friends.

Headphone Stand Compact storage. When the A 2 is not in use, the headphone can be placed on the supplied headphone stand which can be mounted to the A 2.
Elegant Design The award-winning design fits anywhere. The elegant surfaces in discreet colours adapt anywhere. The glass cover of the A 2 displays the power components of the circuit board. When the device is in use, the interior light of a warm orange colour reminds you of the warm glow of tube amplifiers. The design of the A 2 has been awarded the Red Dot Award 2014.
Worldwide Usage Voltage selector switch for regional use worldwide. Due to the voltage selector switch the same device can be used for the voltage range of 110 - 120 V and 220 - 240 V.

Suitable for all HD audio sources. The whole analogue electronics is compatible to all HD audio sources.
Selectable Gain and Impedance The selectable gain and impedance provide maximum flexibility for the use with all dynamic headphones and audio sources. Loud or quiet headphones, different levels of the audio sources or different headphone impedances: via covered slide switches at the bottom of the A 2 can optimally be tuned to the connected devices – enjoyment of music without compromise is ensured!

A 2 Technical Features
The glass cover of the A 2 is shielded to protect the device against electromagnetic radiation. During production when the glass is still a fluid, it is coated with titanium oxide in a pyrolitic procedure so that a conductive surface is created at the bottom.
The imprint of the transparent sound waves on the glass cover is made with a ceramic colour which is burnt into the glass at a temperature of 650° C making it extremely long-lasting and resistant.
As a little reminder of the year the company beyerdynamic was founded, the infrared remote control sends the code “1924� with each keystroke. When the A 2 identifies the correct code, the requested command will be performed.
