MCS 20 – SIMPLICITY ITSELF The wired MCS 20 conference system is very easy to handle. The system consists of three basic components: the power supply, and the chairman and delegate microphone units including all system cables. The system is controlled and configured by the chairman microphone unit. The easy installation and intuitive operation as well as an excellent price/performance ratio make the MCS 20 system attractive for first-time users. Set up, plug in, turn on and the meeting can start. As all the other conference systems from beyerdynamic, the MCS 20 system ensures the highest levels of speech intelligibility.
PLUG & PLAY Due to the quick plug-in connection the system is quickly set up or removed and therefore flexible and optimal for rental companies.
FLEXIBILITY Different configurations for the microphone units can be set via DIP switches at the bottom of the microphone units.
The system has been developed for small to medium-sized meetings in town halls, guildhalls or hotels. Due to the quick plug-in connection the system is also interesting for rental companies or other flexible uses.
AUDIO QUALITY
VOICE ACTIVATION
Due to selected microphone capsules feedback is minimised and the sound optimised.
The microphone is automatically turned on, when the speaker starts speaking.
INTELLIGIBILITY OF SPEECH The integrated loudspeakers are optimised for voice response achieving a high intelligibility of speech.

The solid design of the microphone units and the fixed, shock-mounted gooseneck microphone ensure minimising vibrations and impact sound.

Components of the conference system MCS 223 Chairman Microphone Unit All system functions are configured and operated via the chairman microphone unit which allows controlling the system easily and intuitively from one seat e.g. secretary. The following configurations are possible: • Prior button for temporary interruptions, e.g. announcements • Clear button to turn off all the other microphones • Buttons to the set the maximum number of open delegate microphones • Buttons to set the volume • Voice, Free and Requ buttons to select the operating mode and activate/deactivate the programming mode MCS 221 Delegate Microphone Unit The microphone can be turned on by voice activation or via the microphone button. Various operating modes can be adjusted with DIP switches at the bottom, e.g. a normal microphone unit can be defined as sub chairman.
MCS 20 Power Supply Unit One power supply unit can power up to 60 microphone units. By linking up to four power supply units, a system with up to 240 microphone units can be operated. All connections are on the rear, while the front only provides an operating LED. Audio interfaces provide the possibility to record meeting, for example with the steno-s™ conference and recording software. External audio sources can also be connected to an audio input.
Accessories MCS 10/20 practical transport and storage case for a maximum of 10 microphone units. Other optional accessories such as longer connecting cables or T adapters are available.
