The first tenant of that ministry is that rest is a form of resistance, because it pushes back and it disrupts capitalism and white supremacy. I only speak from the lens of Black liberation because I believe that Blackness is a balm for all of humanity, and I believe that no one will be free until we’re all free. Black people, Indigenous people, the people who capitalism culture has abused and commodified to build its wealth; it comes out of that very human lens.
