The Annual Luncheon may be behind us, but there’s no slowing down for BFFF events manager Charley Price.
Back in November we saw more than 850 members and their guests gather at the Hilton Park Lane for our 2019 Annual Luncheon. Everything ran smoothly and we received some fabulous feedback. You can read full coverage and see pictures from the day on page 38.
When we arrived back in the office following the Annual Luncheon, thoughts soon turned to our Business Conference and People Awards Dinner which will take place on Thursday 5 th March at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth.
Much of the detail and planning takes place during the three months leading up to the event, with just a short break for Christmas in between!
We have been working hard since last spring to put together an interesting and informative programme with a great lineup of speakers and we are delighted to have Daregal and Comma in partnership with Stibo Systems as joint headline sponsors of the event.
It’s no mean feat sourcing good speakers and covering a wide enough variety of topics to ensure all members find something of interest, but I hope you will agree the 2020 programme ticks all the boxes. Find out more on the next page.
Our popular exhibition space is filling up as this really is a great event to get in front of fellow members and promote what you do. The exhibition takes place in the room where refreshments and lunch are served to encourage delegates to visit the stands during breaks. Some members will once again be showcasing their delicious products by providing lunch in our food market.

As with all events, so much goes on behind scenes from processing the bookings to designing and organising the banners, writing content for the brochure and organising name badges for all delegates. It’s all made worthwhile when we see so many of our members attending on the day; there is always such a great buzz around the conference with the speakers sparking great conversations and debates between delegates during the breaks!
