FASHION UMBRELLA FOUNDATION
SOUVENIR BOOKLET 2016
It brings me great pleasure and excitement to offer you, our supporter, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation’s Souvenir Booklet of 2016. This souvenir booklet is a visual road map of the Foundation’s annual programs and fundraising events. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Fashion Umbrella Foundation, we are a not-for-profit, grassroots organization that champion inner city youth by providing educational opportunities to engage youth in the Arts, Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM), and provide resources for youth to pursue careers as artists, entrepreneurs and future innovators. Programs of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation may seem somewhat unconventional, but certain programs were developed from personal hardships endured by me as a single parent raising 3 sons, and obstacles experienced by my friends. Being a part of unfortunate circumstances, I promissed myself I would do what I could to create a shift in someone else’s life. With the Fashion Umbrella Foundation in place we are doing just that. Although the Foundation may not be at the full vision planned, “WE ARE HERE WITH A VISION”, and that’s the first step. Through this visual roadmap, you will see programs in motion, aand we continue to plan in the background programs for the future. “Education is Key” at the Fashion Umbrella Foundation and if we can help one child, one youth, one student, to get on track to a brighter future, we are that much closer bringing our vision to life. On behalf of the entire staff at the Fashion Umbrella Foundation, we hope you enjoy our visual roadmap and we want to THANK YOU for your support.
