Dr. Blackwood, a native of Birmingham and graduate of Auburn University, was honored with The 2018 Distinguished Service Award awarded by the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. He is the co-owner of Walton County Animal Clinic in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
