PUBLISHER’S NOTE
Can you believe how spring-like it felt much of February? It made us long for the outdoors, so we decided to spend some energy writing about Hoover’s bustling outdoor scene in this issue! Kim Cripps shares some of what she learned about opportunities to get outside and move around in Hoover. From hiking to biking, jogging to exploring, Hoover offers a wealth of outdoor space for visitors and residents alike to find their connection with nature. Find your outdoor space on page 8. Another sign that warmer weather is here? Crawfish! This wildly popular dish is enjoyed the world over, and Hoover’s restaurants are no exception. We take you on a tour of the best places in the city to eat “crawdads,” and even share a recipe for you to try at home. The adventure starts on page 11.

A vibrant nightlife used to be found only in larger urban areas, but many smaller cities are embracing the trend. There are new options for going out on the town all around Hoover; check those out in our feature starting on page 14.
There’s a lot more in this issue, so I’ll leave you alone so you can get to reading. As always, thanks for picking up this copy of Enjoy Hoover, and we’ll see you again in the May/June issue!
