HI I’M BHARAT KUMAR an Architect

A versatile and creative person who enjoys facing up different projects. For almost 5 years of study i have developed skills around several drawing, modeling and layout, architectral softwares. I am highly motivated, facing every project as a personal challenge to push my skills forward. Despite being enthusiastic about my own ideas, I am an analytical and self-critical person, open to different points of view. All these things considered, together with my organisation skills make me suited to engage work-teams as well as to cooperate with multidisciplinary group.

>

The projects shown on this porfolio are a small shawcase of my academic development, where not only these skills become evident, but also allows the user to open his mind to multiple sensations and interpretations, implicit in their context and expressed through simple but significat architectural gestures.

architecture moving images

The relationship between cinema and architecture is mentioned in many occasions and it's partially true. In fact, the architecture in the cinema appears as a background of scene, as a background of the action. The cinema is giving you a specific point of view about things, about the reality and the architecture into it. Into the invention of the plot, there reality (and the architecture inside) appears in a special way, with special light, in a special frame, in a special context. Film sets are design mostly by the architects. One of the most creative, high profile fields that can offer an architect a wide range of positions is the film industry. And, in fact, those with architectural backgrounds have been making the transition into the filmmaking industry for decades. It turns out that architecture students, who can spend five-figure sums on their seven-year training courses, are using their newly-learned digital animation and design skills to break into the world of film.

IDENTITY juxtapose

Building of a museum should be unique in itself and shuld create a juxtapose with the surroundings. so as to create an identity. The architecture of buildings surroundings the site is of mix architectural styles. So, to create juxtopose with the surroundings, Deconstructive architecture should be used.

ISBT Studio project - 8th sem

Bijwasan, Delhi

As transportation involves the movement of the people and goods, there is a need of an “access point” in transport system to use it. These access points are known as “Terminals” or the fixed facilities. Terminals atre one of the main components of any mode of transportation.

03

Road transport is still the dominant mode of transportation - both for moving goods and Passengers. Railways handle only 40% of the freight and 20% of the passengers load, 60% of the goods and 80% of passenger’s movement takes place through roads. Out of total length of national highways, 27% is single lane/intermediate lane; whereas 59% is double lane standard, and the rest 14% is four-lane/ six-lane/ eight lane standard.

ORIGIN The road network can be compared to the axes of the coordinate system and a transport system like ISBT can be compared to the origin. Here, in our design approach our bus terminal stands as the origin for all the coming buses from various places in and around our cities. For example - Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh etc, Now, if we want to evolve a space based on this concept, according to our circulation and approach we arrive at the given illustration.

CAFE GARDEN Cafeteria design in

University campus 05

A cafeteria is a place where students of different fields come together to find escape from their hectic college schedule and would act as a common intevracting space where everyone can share their experiences with each other and learn new things from each other. Hence ‘Cafe Garden’ is based on the concept of ‘Progress’ because students learning from eax inspire the students to excel in their respective fields. Slope of the roof begins at 9ft. and terminates at a height of 15ft..

Collection of

ARCHITECTURAL RENDERINGS by using

Various Softwares Architectural rendering is the art of creating two dimensional images or animations showing the attributes of a proposed architectural design. This technique is often referred to as a "Photo Real" rendering. Renderings are usually created for presentation, marketing and design analysis purposes.

07

Here are some visualisations of various projects which I rendered during my curriculum. Modeling of these renders was done using 3ds max, revit, sketchup and rendered using vray and photoshop.

DIGITAL ART various

Rendering works Digital art is contemporary art that uses the methods of mass production or digital media. The techniques of digital art are used extensively by the mainstream media in advertisements, and by film-makers to produce visual effects. Desktop publishing has had a huge impact on the publishing world, although that is more related to graphic design.

08

It can be purely computer-generated or taken from other sources, such as a scanned photograph or an image drawn using vector graphics software using a mouse or graphics tablet

A glimpse of

VECTOR ART Illustrations

Vector graphics are computer graphics images that are defined in terms of 2D points, which are connected by lines and curves to form polygons and other shapes. Each of these points has a definite position on the x and y axis of the work plane and determines the direction of the path; further, each path may have various properties including values for stroke color, shape, curve, thickness, and fill.
