Bloomington High School South
Welcome
BHSS Principal, Mark Fletcher On behalf of Bloomington High School South we would like to thank you for your support of our entire athletic program. Through attending events, volunteering, purchasing ad space or making financial contributions of other types, you are assisting our athletic programs in maintaining their high levels of excellence. Due in large part to your efforts, those levels of excellence are admired across the state. The tradition and pride at Bloomington High School South makes this a very special place. A part of that tradition and pride incorporates the practice of good sportsmanship. We would like to welcome our guests from competing schools and express our desire to always display these practices during your visits to our school. Discipline, competition, teamwork, accepting instruction, and striving to reach their full potential are qualities our students will learn through their involvement in extra-curricular activities. These experiences will benefit them throughout the rest of their lives. There is no greater reward than assisting in creating this environment for our students. Thanks again for your assistance and support. LET’S GO PANTHERS!
BHSS Athletic Director, J.R. Holmes As Athletic Director, I welcome you to Bloomington High School South for another exciting sports year. The success we enjoy at BHSS not only comes from the hard work of our athletes and coaches, but from the support of our parents and fans. This total contribution of time, energy, and financial support allow us to offer a top-notch athletic program. Thanks to all of you who have supported our teams as we work together in carrying on the great TRADITION of BHSS!

From Coach Moriarity Dear Panther Fans, Welcome to the 2013 football season. I am excited to be back as the head football coach at Bloomington South. My wife and I are thrilled to be back in Bloomington! I look forward to leading the Panthers and building a program we can all be proud of. Bloomington South has a storied past in football and I hope to add to it. The players and coaches have been working hard this summer getting ready for the season. We open up at Bedford and our first home game is against traditional rival Martinsville. That should be an exciting night as we will honor the state championship teams from (68, 72, 93, and 98). It will be the first of five home games and I hope you come out and support the Panthers. With the help of principal Mark Fletcher and athletic director J.R. Holmes I have been able to put together an outstanding coaching staff. Many of these coaches have been with me previously as either a coach or player. I have been pleased with the amount of time each coach has put in to prepare for the 2013 season. I want to thank all of you that bought and ad for this program, your support is appreciated. I would also like to thank all the parents who volunteered to paint and clean up the football locker-room, all the moms that worked lunch camp, and the QB Club for all they do for South football. I will not make predictions about the season but I will promise you that we (players and coaches) will work very hard to make you proud of Bloomington South Football.

Quarterback Club
The Bloomington High School South football program has enjoyed a long history
of success. The success of the football program is not an accident; rather, it is a direct result of the dedication and hard work of the athletes, coaches, administration, fans, cheerleaders and the many supporters of the Quarterback Club in our community. Support of this organization is critical to the continued success of Panther Football now and for years to come. The Quarterback Club plays a vital role in the organization and actual implementation of programs such as general fundraising, facilities maintenance and upgrades, training and game equipment acquisition, player and coaching staff development, athlete character development, spirit activities, website maintenance, food for camps and games, game films and highlights, booster club, media guide and long-term capital projects. A portion of the funds raised by the Quarterback Club are shared with the overall athletic budget and therefore benefit other sports and other student athletes as well as football athletes.
