Festival of light Diwali is right around the corner and this is the time when we attend or give fun parties to our close one. Whether it might be a family gathering or a party at a friend's place. Here are some home remedies for hair Hibiscus and Aloe Vera for hair growth- Hibiscus helps in preventing premature graying, and prevents hair fall. It is rich in amino acids, which help in hair growth. This amazing flower is loaded with astringent properties, which reduce the excessive oil secretion of the scalp, thus providing relief from itchy scalp. On the other hand, Aloe Vera is known for its health benefits, it works wonders even on hair. It also acts as an excellent conditioner.

How to use: Take some hibiscus flower and make a paste out of it, to this add one cup Aloe Vera gel. Apply this pack on your hair and gently massage for a couple of minutes. Leave this pack on for about 45 minutes and then wash it off.


Amla and coconut oil- Amla also known as Indian Gooseberry contains Vitamin C and it helps in hair growth. On the other hand, Coconut oil promotes faster hair growth.

How to use: Take some amla powder and to this add coconut oil in a bowl. Now mix the two ingredients well and apply this pack on your hair and massage for a few minutes. Leave it on for about an hour and then rinse it off.


Egg white and Yogurt- The protein in egg promotes hair growth, removes unwanted oils from the scalp and strengthens hair. On the other hand, just like eggs, yogurt also contains proteins that promote hair nourishment.

How to use:​ Take one egg and use only the white and to this add about one or two tablespoons of yogurt. Then apply this pack on the scalp. Leave it on for about half an hour and then wash it off.

Your scalp needs luxurious treatment before Diwali. This at best can be given, by massaging your scalp with pure essential oils. It not only reverses the damage caused to the strands but also helps to impart a healthy shine and improves the texture of the hair. You can pamper your hair with oils of argan, rosemary, almond, castor or olive oil with honey and sugar.
