The Signal Sculpture, Spray Paint on Fabric W:32 H:26 D:12 in 2022 CiCi2275

This piece is inspired by the band, Starset and their lore of the Starset Society. It represents a fallen astronaut on some far distant planet. Their helmet still illuminates with light and a signal transmission that can still be recieved. The glow in the dark aspect (not pictured) represents the essence of the soul left behind. I want to know what story you see in the piece. Where does your mind wonder?

The African Fabric Textile Art, Sewing on Canvas W:40.64 H:50.80 cm 2021 Danielle Mbenda

One of the main pieces at the center of my creations is the African fabric. This artwork shows the gendered character of the African fabrics related to women’s social roles, which contribute to structuring society. The African Fabric has always been the means of expression of the silent African woman who has chosen not to respond directly. Its impressionable colors and patterns have been actual nests of answers and feelings from women to various questions, situations, and frustrations. They preferred to express themselves through the patterns of the Fabric they wore, whether it was a disagreement, contempt, victory, congratulation, or joy, while the mouth remains closed. The African fabric is not only artistic, it is cultural, social, and found at the foundation/base of beliefs, institutions, and social structures. It ceases to be only a cloth or garment and becomes a place of knowledge and culture, a reflection of the African society.

Polarity and Connections to the Psyche Drawing, Oil Pastel on Paper W:98 H:126 cm 2021 Erica Monaghan

'Polarity and Connections of the Psyche', is a piece which connects the opposites of the sun and the moon to human emotions. The following is aimed to be achieved by both dark and light colours, e.g. the light representing the sun, the dark represented by the moon. The humanoid figure within the image, connects the colours to the human internal experience.

Sacred Love Painting, Acrylic on Canvas W:30 H:40 in 2020 - 2021 Helen Kagan

This artwork is from "Divine Feminine" series, Collection "5D". It is my "Cosmic - Universal" version of "Madonna and Child" that was created (channeled) during the very beginning of the crazy disorienting scary trying and challenging Covid Pandemic times of 2020 - difficult to the majority of people, and especially to those having physical and/or mental health disturbances and conditions, those having to deal with various illnesses and traumas, those suffering from PTSD as a lot of traumatic memories have been triggered and re-activated. As a (Complex) PTSD survivor myself (who also lost my child many years ago) this artwork is much more than just a self-reflection of a Mother with the beloved child... It is the Divine Mother and Child in the midst of infinity, unlimited vastness, enigma, beauty, love and their own Laws of the Universe. Divine Love is what defines this unique artwork as it does our Universe. Secret Beauty, Secret Love.

Body and Soul Painting, Acrylic on Canvas W:24 H:36 in 2018 Howard Michaels

For the past few years, I have been working on a series of portraits of rock and roll music legends and admired women. “Body & Soul” was created using hand cut stencils and spray paint with the addition of acrylic paint applied with a brush and marker. It is my tribute to the late great iconic singer Amy Winehouse. She was known for her deep expressive vocals & her eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm & blues, and jazz. Amy struggled with substance abuse and is among the tragically long list of musicians who died at 27 years old. My portrait was created to be a positive and youthful representation of her trademark big hair and retro 60's look.

A Higher Vantage Point Drawing, Color Pencil on Paper W:20 H:30.50 cm 2021 Lucy Webster

A Higher Vantage Point was created with reference to a photo taken by Lucy when visiting a wildlife park in the UK and observing animal behaviour, a subject that fascinates her. The individual shown in this drawing had finished eating and sat atop the tree stump as if watching over the rest of its’ group who were still feeding. Perhaps this was the dominant individual, and after feeding first, acted as a look out whilst its’ subordinates fed. Limited edition prints are available of this piece - a total of just 25 available.

Glistening Painting, Acrylic on Canvas W:30 H:40 in 2022 Gayle Faulkner

The glow and awakening of the rising sun give us such promise of continuity in our world. As the rays rise above the mountains and spread across the water to reach the fertile meadows, the promise of a new day emerges. This Textural Acrylic painting is painted primarily with a palette knife using acrylic paint and acrylic gels. The impressionistic style allows for creative textures and colors. As an artist, I am aware of the visuals in our world. When I go into my studio, I start with a very loosely drawn composition for horizon and water lines. I then allow my imagination to take off. The panting and I have a "conversation" that allows the colors, textures and placement to flow. I am often surprised at a particularly beautiful color or passage in a painting. This is created on a gallery wrapped canvas that can be hung framed or unframed.

Queer Animal Installation, Acrylic on Canvas W:400 H:100 D:10 cm 2015 Izabela Maciejewska

Painting Installation Motto: "And yet the rainbows exist. It is not just our imagination. And maybe the rainbow waves also exist? Wouldn’t it be worth to form an alliance with them?" This project shows a compilation of two animals: canis vertigus and Schrödinger’s Cat and, in a symbolic manner, it relieves them. Canis vertigus is a now extinct type of a dog, which used to be treated as a kitchen equipment. Raised in England back in the 16th century, the Turnspit Dog (the English name of this breed) was a shortlegged, long-bodied dog bred to run long distances on a wheel in order to turn meat. The wheel (known as turnspit or dog wheel) was hung on the wall and connected with a chain to a rolling barbeque. Thanks to canis vertigus, the meat was perfectly grilled.

787 Dreamliner Cockpit Painting, Oil Color on Canvas W:60 H:50 cm 2019 - 2020 Damian Jacobs

Check out this oil painting of the captains view from the 787 Dreamliner cockpit, on the final approach during sunset. Some viewers would see this painting as if they're seeing through the captains actual eyes, however some would see it as if it was a photograph taken by the captain. While it's normal for the eye to go around the cockpit during this part of the flight, as this is what the Pilot Monitoring would be doing, checking everything for the Pilot Flying, what's NOT allowed during this very critical part of the flight, so close to the runway, is a pilot taking a photo, which would violate the "sterile cockpit" rule. No matter how beautiful the sunset is or whatever scenery is outside the cockpit windows, both pilots must be focused and ready to land 200 tons worth of Dreamliner, which by the way is full of passengers and cargo, safely on the runway. Why would I paint this? I wanted to see how far I can push myself as an artist, to see how crazy...

“Flow State” My mind. Relaxed. Immersed. Soul ignited. Joyful. Fluid energy. Time slipping. Flow State. Think back to when you were a kid playing with your friends. Maybe it was soccer or a game of hide and seek. You felt alive! You laughed and played as time flew by. You were in a Flow State. What is something that causes you to lose the track of time and brings you joy? Become fluid like the ocean wave and harness the energy that exists inside you. Do “that thing” that gives you zeal each day and brings you into a Flow State.

CO VI D Sculpture W:41 H:88 in 2021 Sean Yarbrough

Steel, Stainless steel, aluminum and paint. My Dad and I decided to make a kinetic outdoor sculpture about the covid pandemic. This was the result! The rusted chain and spinners represent the bacteria molecule, with a stainless steel earth in the center pierced by a large syringe. Earths oceans have a chrome finish and reflect the viewer.

Sunlight Drawing, Ink on Arches Paper W:40 H:32 in 2018 Mide

To make this piece I had to reach into myself and pull out something that I didn’t know was there. Something unknown even to me. At the time there was a specific feeling that I was having. It was a powerful feeling, enough that I decided that I needed to document that in a piece. I wanted to capture a feeling of safety but of overwhelming beauty. The sun is a beautiful and magnificent celestial body. Yet it blinds us whenever we look at it. It reminds me of the story of Icarus. A man with wings enjoys flying but he gets too close to the sun and it melts his wings. I wanted to capture that essence but focus more on the beauty of the sun compared to its harms.

Sacrifice Sculpture, Mixed Media W:12 H:12 D:12 in 2021 Megan Bynum

A conceptually-driven work, Sacrifice explores the implications of the superficial worth that people bestow upon one another. The king and pawn chess pieces, both composed of Hydrostone, differ only in their exterior appearance. Gold is considered more valuable than silver, and a king is more valuable than a pawn. I invite the audience to consider whether people should be sacrificed and if life is but a game to be won.
