The throne is a recognized symbol of power, it is the seat where the ruler and the commander are located. It is placed on a rigid structure, representative of reality, which dominates it and therefore imposes the rules of power. But whoever dominates cannot be satis ed with such an unlivable reality. For this reason he surrounds himself with a free, airy and transparent dream. Around him he places fantastic images capable of composing and decomposing themselves in space-time. Olabamiji Yemi Tubi, commonly known as O Yemi Tubi aka MOYAT, a Nigerian born, American trained Artist, currently residing in United Kingdom as an artist with creative and unique personal style. Most of his recent paintings were in uenced by the political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of the Renaissance artists. He does not like artworks just for decoration but to evoke feelings. In uenced by Renaissance artists and current world political situation, evoked him to do some of his recent paintings. Since the beginning of his art career, his works have been exhibited, recognized, sold and won prizes in UK, Europe and United States. He currently lives and works as a Graphic Artist in the United Kingdom.

This is another work in my Roses and thorns painting series and was in uenced by the movie of Ray Charles’ life. Born poor and raised by his mother in my adopted state of Georgia in the USA. Ray lost his sight when he was a child about four or ve years old. Ray Charles grew up at a time when people of his skin colour were considered less human and were denied equal opportunities with the white people. To imply that Ray Charles used his music to echo the cry of African Americans during the civil rights movement, I changed the wording of Ray's songs “Unchained my heart” for the title of this painting to “The Ray of Georgia: Unchained my Hands.”

“It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’[b]” Matt. 21:13 O. Yemi Tubi had spoken about African colonial masters robbing African people through their evil practices. This painting is about African religious leaders holding up and robbing African people using the Holy Bible as their weapons of armed robbery. Hence the painting is titled "The Robbery Revival.” Africans are very religious and they are devoted to God Almighty. They have strong belief that God is the solution to every problem and this strong belief makes them a prey to false religious leaders, both men and women.

In spite of the despondency and challenges part of life, there is a rosy side of life as well. “The Rosy Seasons of Life” chose an optimistic look of life to celebrate rosy side of life. Pasquale Pacelli Painting

Pasquale Pacelli was born in 1978 in Italy. At the age of eighteen he obtained his diploma in interior decorator, at twenty began his training as a restorer rst in Venice, then at the New Cooperative Alliance of Treviso, with whom he worked for nine years, an art and restoration workshop where he learned the skills artisans and ancient techniques of the past to be able to face the works on mobile works and monumental (frescoes, painted sculptures) as well as participating in the organization of large exhibitions such as Shadow Line by Marco Goldin. After the experience as a restorer returns to take care of interior furnishing by nding the space necessary to devote oneself to painting. He began to get noticed in the art world, passed the rst selection phase for the 13th Arte Laguna World Award, exhibited his works in various exhibitions, was called to take part in the Genoa Biennale, in Treviso at CĂ dei Carraresi in the venue which hosted the most important Impressionist exhibitions in Italy.
