“L’essence de la couleur et de l’imaginaire – The essence of color and imagination “ Patrick Joosten – A self-taught Virtuoso of Abstract Artistry
The Creative Spirit: Tracing the Artistic Journey of Patrick Joosten
Patrick Joosten is a French abstract painter, renowned for his idiosyncratic artistic style and prodigious creative air Born in the cultural hub of Paris, Joosten has forged an independent path in the world of art, driven by his innate curiosity and an unrelenting passion for creative expression
Largely self-taught, Joosten enjoys the unbridled freedom that his autodidacticism a ords him Without the constraints that come with a formal education in the arts, he is able to venture beyond the boundaries of established artistic conventions, experimenting with diverse styles and techniques His artworks are an amalgamation of personal exploration and unhindered creativity, which captivate audiences and elicit profound emotional responses.
Art in all its myriad forms has always held a special place in Joosten s heart, with painting, in particular, holding an unmatched allure for the artist
He harbors an ardent passion for creating visually arresting artworks that resonate deeply with viewers, evoking a spectrum of emotions and eliciting contemplation and re ection.
The sources of inspiration that fuel Joosten’s creative endeavors are manifold. As an abstract painter, he draws from the sinuous contours and forms of the human body, nding beauty in the natural elegance of physicality Nature, too, serves as an inexhaustible wellspring of inspiration for Joosten, with its resplendent colors and ever-evolving patterns lending themselves to his artistic vision Moreover, the world of experimental abstract art informs his creative process, further widening the scope of his artistic explorations.

Illustration, Photography, Painting, Drawing, Digital Arts
Internationally known Fine Artist with a winning streak of publications, exhibitions and awards starting on 12 Jan 23 and continuing into 2024 with 75 new art contest, exhibition and publication wins in 2024/143 total A multi-talented artist that creates in every part of her life, Ilia began painting while maintaining a poetic pen pal relationship with a man named Ralph Grimes, who one day she sent a drawing to After he hung up the sketch and he told her of how many admirers praised the work, her con dence and purpose as an artist was cemented Inspired by the creativity of her mother and grandfather through gardening, she learned at a mere three years of age and beyond that ‘life is a canvas ’ upon which we create She continued her poetry, yet was urged by Grimes to try her hand at painting Her path was set Known for her ability to communicate exactly what the viewer wants in her commissioned pieces, she sold her rst wonderful work in 1987, titled ‘Cosi Fan Tuti ’ Her rst check for this validated her increasingly growing ability as an artist
Ilia weaves a very spiritual feeling into both her writings and art Schooled by independent teachers, predominately Mr Grimes who held an MFA, she was rooted further in her work by teachings in Classical, Jazz, Big Band and more
Following the lyrical pulse of life, when Ilia paints, creates digital ne art or writes, she listens to music. In uenced by Mozart, Vivaldi, Loeillet, Telemann, Purcell, Beethoven, Hayden, Bach, utist Jean-Pierre Rampal, and old time jazz, among more, these sounds help breathe life into her poetic, painterly work. Also heavily in uenced by writer, poet, photographer, musician, and lmmaker L Ron Hubbard, whose rational philosophy has guided her life, as well as inventor and artist Leonardo Di Vinci – she dubs her style as Dreamscapes as it has di erent colors and ows-reminiscent of her varying high minded in uences from art and musical composition to philosophy.
Ilia states, that she creates art in order to ‘inspire others to create ’ Indeed, her visions for her life, even beyond the canvass, are bright and noble. She adds, “I help other artists to make a living with their art because I found out that once I inspire others to create it elevates us all up higher-myself included And- at times that person isn’t going to continue unless there is a way or even several ways in which to make a living with their art, so I like to help teach them to do that ”
In addition to art, Ilia has now written a book titled “The Art of Mentoring” to share her successful actions for helping others! But for now, it is Ilia’s art that is worthy of much great attention When asked what clients collecting her work can expect, she concludes, “People can expect quality work that speaks to them. A person with my art can expect to look at it time and again nding new things to admire about it And a person can expect other people, when seeing it, to gravitate to it, look at it, admire and to continue to be drawn to the painting, looking and seeing more about it ” Unclear?
Hardly. Ilia is a rare, grounded woman with a vision, and possessing of a trained skill and con dence in that vision, which speaks diligently- from the spirit to each work she creates- and from each work in turn to each client. It is with that understanding that we invite you to enjoy the exploration of this very vibrant and deserving artist

Nishi Kumar
Painting, Graphics
My passion for art began in childhood with formal training from the age of 8 in India. Four years later, I was invited to teach painting to adults through a local art school until the 12th grade I then competed in a national art contest and won entrance into a prestigious arts institute, the JJ School of Arts, which I attended for 5 years under full scholarship I ranked at the top of my class throughout a rigorous program of study and won “Best Illustrator of the Year” (Waghulkar Prize) in my nal year.
I continued at JJ for my Masters until moving to the Austin, Texas where I began a career in art design. I worked for several years as a Creative Director, designing print materials, multimedia, websites, and software interfaces. Art is my true passion, and it comes from my heart. It is from this quiet space that paintings emerge My art is really about my exploration of life with color, contour, and design

Federico Uribe
Installation, Sculpture, Digital Arts, Mixed Media
Federico Uribe’s work has become prominent internationally over the past decade, particularly in the United States It has been collected by multiple museums and featured in several museum exhibitions worldwide Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Federico Uribe lives and works in Miami. The artist transforms objects from their original, utilitarian purposes to create boldly beautiful sculptures and paintings In the hands of virtuoso artist Uribe, objects undergo this metamorphosis from inanimate to a greater-than-life status. His impeccable attention to detail leaves the viewer speechless and breathless Federico Uribe creates sculptures that are not sculpted but constructed and weaved in curious, unpredictable, repetitive, and almost compulsive ways
Uribe’s materials are not the kinds that are easily recycled into innocuous functionality or traditional beauty He creates exquisitely made objects that are assemblages of items such as bullet shells, cut-up pieces of coloured pencils, coloured shoelaces and pins, electrical wires, ties, and plastic waste, just to name a few By connecting objects in such fresh ways, Uribe re ects on Nature's pivotal presence and in the process, Federico Uribe goes full circle and gives back to Nature what was taken from her: as trees are turned into books, Federico turns books into trees, leather shoes into animals, while the use of bullets and cartridges to bring a fox or a rabbit back to life might illustrate dramatically the brutal annihilation of wildlife all around our planet.

After I retired as a school administrator in 2012, I tiptoed into an art class at a local community college, which opened up a new world to this English major In the following years, I took numerous drawing and watercolor courses, learning about composition, color, perspective and more. At the same time, I started to travel, taking the usual “tourist photos ” Gradually I began to incorporate the principles I’d learned in art classes into my photography. I became seriously interested in and committed to photography during the pandemic, when I took many classes and webinars and began to focus on this domain After the pandemic, I was able to implement what I’d learned as I resumed my travels I love how photography o ers continual growth, and enjoy experimenting with new techniques like Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) Photography brings me much joy, and I love seeing the enthusiasm and delight of my viewers when I share my photos
