GENERAL NOTES:
General: All works to be performed by a licenced Contractor familiar with landscape construction of this nature. The Contractor shall verify the location of utilities / services on site prior to the commencement of construction and ensure that they will not have an effect on the works. Should there be any conflict, the Contractor shall notify the Landscape Architect.
These drawings are to be read in conjunction with CD053 Site - Landscape Plan.
AS4419 - General soil application stanadards. Site & Soil: Planting beds and cultivation depths: - Grasses area & turf 150mm - Planting areas 150mm Existing Trees: Exisiting trees to be retained and protected unless otherwise specified. Finished Levels & Grade: Minimum cross falls od 1:50 on pathways and planting to drainage collection points and overflow points. Areas of planing should not exceed 1:3. Topsoil: Supply and install imported topsoil that complies with Australian Standards 4419 to all turf and garden areas as shown on drawings unless otherwise specified. Ensure site soil is free of stones, sticks, roots, rubbish and material toxic to plant growth. Turf: Supply and install A-grade turf to areas shown on drawings. Finishing levels should be flush with ajacent surfaces unless otherwise detailed. Spread topsoil and grade surface to ensure a level finished surface, which drains to provided floor gutters.
Setting Out: Constractor is to verify all set out dimensions prior to proceeding with the works. Access and Safety: Contractor to maintain safe access paths through site at all times. Ensure all excavations are fully protected at all times. Services: Landscape contractor is to confirm with authorities and builder/civil contractor the location of underground services prior to commencement, repair any damage to services without delay and cost. Plant set-out and stock: All plant stock to be verified by Landscape Architect for stock quality, size and set out prior to planting. Plant Standards: Works to be carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards unless directed otherwise. Erosion and Sediment Control: Sediment runoff from earthwork sites is to be prevented from entering the underground drainage system. Exposed areas are to be established and landscape works carried out as soon as practicable. Diversion drains and sediment traps are to remain in place until established works haeve been completed.
