orking on this publication has been both exciting and gratifying. With the country marking 50 years of independence this year it was amazing to learn how much the construction industry has grown especially in the last eight years. Under the vision 2030, infrastructure and housing development are key. Road network expansion, development of ports, rail network improvements and the development of at least 200,000 housing units annually are just some of the highlights. To achieve these grand plans the country needs a highly structured and streamlined industry that will ensure only registered professionals working within approved guidelines undertake construction development. In light of the above, the work of the National Construction Authority is so important and it has been a great pleasure working with the team to put this directory together. The idea behind this directory was to make the contacts of the key construction professionals available to prospective builders and to give suppliers to the industry and opportunity to find the key decision makers in a more structured manner.
