An Introduction to Vascular Surgery Course

A one-day course for medical students, foundation doctors and core surgical trainees considering a career in Vascular Surgery

The Vascular Society of Great Britain & Ireland and the Rouleaux Club are excited to announce a combined initiative with the Charing Cross Symposium. We will be running An Introduction to Vascular Surgery Course for medical students, foundation doctors and core surgical trainees.

Attendees will be offered hands-on training in vascular anastomosis, vascular ultrasound and cannulation, as well as demonstrations of endovascular techniques. They will meet trainees and consultants with a passion for vascular surgery. They will also be given advice on how to develop their portfolio and how to apply for training in vascular surgery.

Attendees will get free entry to the CX Symposium (Thursday 27 April 2023). An Introduction to Vascular Surgery Course is a one-day programme, taking place on Thursday 27 April.

Places are limited and applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Attendees will be asked for a proof of status to secure their place.

All trainees attending the Introduction day will have the opportunity to write a report of their experience. The best report will be published in Vascular News.
