Mountain-biking and riding is our culture, our passion. Manufacturing the best helmets is our sole purpose, our eternal quest. The richness of our sport lies in its diversity. So many different influences contribute to enriching it, whether it be freeride from British Columbia yesterday or enduro from southern Europe today. Tomorrow, new paths will open towards an even more international and diverse world of mountain-biking. Every one of these disciplines merits our attention and a product development that’s precise so this year, after 5 years of hard work, we are proud to offer a complete range. The Supacross is our newest addition and our cross country helmet. The term ‘Cross country’ sounds so much better when teamed with real ethics. This helmet is the result of our values pushed to their limit. It symbolizes the range with its pure Urge design, no useless frills and recognizable from the rest. 90% manufactured from recycled materials, it is nonetheless at the cutting edge in terms of security. Where safety is concerned, we leave nothing to chance. We make no compromises to save a few grams for example. We are making our own way and the more riders we meet on it, we are encouraged to go even further. Cross your country, cross many countries, never stop riding a mountain bike. This is what we do. We wish it for you too. The Urge crew Driven by our roots.

There are 7 of them and most are 20 years old. Belgian and French, they are the future of the discipline. To excel at enduro racing requires a perfect combination of physical efforts and technical skills. For us it’s simply what mountain biking is about. And it’s this race format that attracts the top riders in the world. . We also love XC, dirt, freeride, trial, DH, but it’s to EWS Enduro that we want to commit fully, to stand up for our values as it’s in this format that we recognize ourselves. We are not the richest team or the one packed with big names. Our team is the image of the brand, humble, young, hard-working, passionate, who always gives its best. In Our quest for the best, we never loose sight of the special moments. We are proud to have this talented group of riders and individuals who are worthy of your attention.

It’s not difficult to create something innovative with an unlimited budget. On the other hand, with the same budget, to create something committed is not so easy and it can seem a bit fake sometimes. To commit yourself in one direction (for us it is to protect you in a more eco-friendly way) and to make it affordable to most is for us much more honest and useful. With the Activist, we’ve decided to keep that thought process and to really go for it! The inner shell is made of recycled EPS while the outer shell is finished by the process of ABS dyeing in order to avoid using paint. The logo is a dip in the shell, which is nicer looking and avoids the use of stickers. Like the entire Urge helmet range, straps are made of recycled PET, our packaging uses the minimum of plastic bags and avoids other useless gadgets that end up in the bin. Finally, in regards to recycling, our boxes are made of raw cardboard that are printed with only one color and have no varnish. All you have to do is put them in dedicated recycling bins. Of course, along with all of the virtuous details, we haven’t forgotten about the comfort, the ventilation, the look and above all the safety. Even if you are now an activist who decided to protect the environment, the new Activist was mainly designed to protect you during your riding sessions.

As its name suggests, this helmet is designed for… well, All-Moutain riding. For this, it combines the advanced protection of an enduro helmet with the efficient air venting of a XC helmet. These vents being very large to optimize air circulation, the general structure of the helmet has been reinforced with plastic tubes in order to pass the high security and homologation tests. The design is 100% brand new in precision and detail: we can all recognize this is an Urge helmet from every angle. The “Urge” look of the All-M brings a new standard of balance, fluidness and dynamics. Flexible and superlight visor, “Gangsta pad” front pad to absorb sweat, the Urge Bikeproducts trademarks, are all here. Our legendary comfort is also present and the ultra easy strap system crossed on the back of the neck offers a support as good as other “concepts” without adding extra weight or potential mechanical problems..

Our talented designer, Zoobab likes to follow through with his ideas. In June 1982 he took part in Lunel (France) with his brothers Gilles and Jean René in his first ever BMX race. It was only a few months after discovering the sport in an issue of BMX Action, brought back from the US by a friend. The Real Jet is the last concrete symbol that our catch phrase is exactly what we have in mind. “Driven by our roots”, the best way for us not to get lost, not to waste our spirit. From its BMX vintage inspiration from the 70’s and 80’s, to the multiple uses you’ll have with it today, you’ll admit it is super classy! Your roots, like ours, allow you to wear proudly this superb new creation form our “Maitre Zoobab”, at a dirt track, a bike park, an all-mountain session or anything you feel like… you decide…driven by your roots

There are an increasing number of Enduro, All Mountain or Super D riders worldwide, specific disciplines that require dedicated equipment. The helmet is one of these. We created the Archi Enduro by following the ideas and feedback of some of the best Enduro riders of the planet like Fabien Barel, Mark Weir, Tracy Moseley, Ben Cruz. The Archi Enduro offers the same protection as our DH helmet, the Down O matic. But the Archi also offers an optimal level of comfort thanks to its reduced weight, high breathability and shorter back, allowing the rider to comfortably wear a backpack. The Archi Enduro is revolution in itself: it is simply the first and the only Enduro-race helmet available on the market. Not only it is a unique helmet, it is now also available in the Veggie version, made from natural linen fiber. And like for the entire range, the straps are made from recycled PET. 2 shell sizes: (S/M 54/57cm) and L/XL (58/60cm), delivered with pads of different thickness in the box to fit your head perfectly.

Its reasonable volume and its pure design are reminiscent of the Endur-o-matic. The big vents at the front are round, in order to allow a maximum of fresh air to reach the pilot. The vents are equipped with grids. Proportions, visibility and protection are optimal. The composite fiber construction allows an unmatched weight / protection ratio. The interior is made of super comfortable soft, removable and washable pads. As featured by its little brother, the ABS visor is super light and vented. The helmet is lighter as a result and it also helps prevent injuries in the event of a crash. Its unique design makes the air go into the vents. Every feature on the Down-o-matic has been studied for a maximum performance while riding a bicycle. Around the world, or in your neighboring playground, the Down-o-matic will allow you to surpass your performances with style & optimal security.

Fairtrade and Organic Cotton

Organic is explicitly linked to environmentally friendly agriculture. It is not just the environment that benefits from its ban on the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides; farmers’ health is all the better for it too. Fairtrade and organic complement each other perfectly. Combining the two is a way of strengthening the position of farming families socially and environmentally as well as supporting their development efforts.

T E S T I M O N I A L Some of the messages we received all year long from our customers
Just wanted to say thanks for making a great helmet. Had a bad crash (head first into rock garden at good speed) and cracked my enduromatic on the frontal lobe. Very happy I just walked away with a sore neck! Thank you!!! Benjamin A. United States
I was flung head first into a rock face. I proceeded to rag doll for about 20 metres on the tar seal. I sustained full body grazes, and a fractured thumb. But although I took a HUGE knock to the head I was okay. The helmet absorbed all the impact, my friend said he saw smoke billowing out of it as I connected with the ground. I do believe if I was wearing any other helmet I would have sustained brain damage or even death. So I thank you Urge. Daniel H. New Zealand
My passion for riding and pushing my own limits have always gone hand in hand. Unfortunately, while there I had a serious crash which sent me to the hospital with extensive injuries. All the doctors agreed if it weren't for my Urge Endur-O-Matic I would not be here today. Evan C.

I had a very bad crash on my new bike yesterday where the frame and forks gave way on me causing me to go over the bars at about 40mph landing on my head. After being rushed to the hospital for treatment and several xrays and scans later I was given the all clear and later told my helmet saved my life. Damian L.

Hi I came off my bike last weekend - quite bad - hit my head on the hard stoney forest floor. I had concussion and had to go to hospital for X-rays and CT scans on my head - the doctor later told me that if I was not wearing my urge helmet or a helmet of lesser quality I would have been dead. Paul M. United Kingdom
I would like to complement you on an excellent product. I have an Urge All M helmet and recently suffered a serious MTB accident and the helmet protected me superbly. I went over a jump, lost my balance and landed on the front wheel. However, despite a hard knock to the head, I suffered no concussion at all. Thank you very much for producing an excellent product. Best regards Graham S. United Kingdom
Basically got flicked by a jump at speed that sent me skyward and landed on hard pack with rocks straight on the top of my head. No damage to any part that was being covered by the helmet, fantastic! Keep up the great work Kind regards. Linden F.
