Get On Your Bike, an event jointly hosted by in-business GOLDNetwork and Bicycle SA, saw more than 50 delegates enjoy breakfast networking at the Adelaide Rowing Club on the Torrens Lake.

The focal point was a panel discussion on the topic ‘A physically active workforce is a more productive workforce’ involving Olympic Gold Medallist, Brett Aitken; GM of Channel 9, Graeme Gilbertson; Chair of the Child Health Clinical Network SA, Dr Cathy Sanders; and Extrastaff Director Declan Rowan. Bicycle SA CEO Christian Haag moderated.

Graeme Gilbertson, a born-again 60-something "cycling nut", says despite having bought 13 bikes in three years the sport has saved him money through lifestyle and health benefits. Graeme says cycling saved him from Type 2 diabetes, with improved fitness reducing his weight and food intake. His personal energy increased, making him better able to meet the demands of a high-stress job, and he has become a strong advocate of fitness in the workplace.
