WELCOME To our 30th Annual Bull and Female Sale! Wow, seems like yesterday, life marches on with plenty of changes and adaptations, trials, adventures and triumphs. We would like to extend a big thank you to all who have supported our program, we couldn’t have done it without you!

One thing that hasn’t changed is the quality of cattle we strive to bring forth for your inspection. Our cattle are raised on natural pasture without creep, culled vigorously for all the traits that in turn make life easier and efficient. The bulls are wintered on a forage ration of silage, chopped hay, rolled oats and a custom formulated bull supplement to insure longevity and expression of growth. By sale day they will have received Fusogard vaccination for foot rot and booster, passed a semen test and updated scrotal and weights will be available closer to sale day. The Open heifers will also be palpated to insure breeding soundness. The purebred heifers are selected with our own priorities for replacements, the cow families they represent are the ones we admire, some are hard to part with and there are a variety of pedigrees to enhance your program. The commercial heifers are a dandy bunch being sourced and hand -picked from a couple of our bull customers and are straight Red Angus, high percentage or home raised. Needless to say, 2020 has been a challenge and we have all have had to become fluid with the day to day changes. Agriculture is an essential service. That being said, we will be following AHS standards and protocols for the safety of our customers and staff and as restrictions may change. Social distancing and sanitation precautions will be observed. The bulls and heifers will be penned outside the sale barn for viewing, and the sale is a live video sale. Once again DLMS will be on site for online bidding so please familiarize yourself and sign up prior to the sale. Phone bidding is another option or contact any of the sales staff or ourselves. Please free to view the bulls and females anytime prior to the sale, just give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you and look forward to discussing any questions you may have. Videos will be posted on DLMs or on our website www.lauronredangus.com. Directions to the farm are 5 miles east of the Didsbury overpass off QE II on Highway 582 north side of the road. Bulls can be kept at the farm free of charge until May 1, then at cost thereafter. Any animals staying are strongly recommended to be insured by the purchaser sale day. If you take your purchases home sale day or within a week of the sale $50 per lot will be deducted. Delivery will be available at our convenience. Please give complete instructions at the settle up desk at the conclusion of the sale. We hope, as does everyone else, that it won’t be long until we can catch up with friends old and new, make connections and stay safe.
