All persons wishing to bid on a horse MUST be registered to bid. Any person registering shall be responsible and liable for their bidding card.

Methods of payments are Cash, Cheque, Debit or Credit Card (3% office processing fee will be added to all purchases on Visa or MasterCard). Online bidding Credit Card Only. GST will be applied to all purchases. All payments must be made in full on April 9, 2022.

The buyer has a responsibility to examine a horse carefully before they bid on it. If you have any particular concerns about conformation, faults or defects, size, attitude, stall manners, riding ability or anything else, check it before you bid.

The Sale management, auctioneers and employees act as agents for seller, but assume no liability for either buyer or seller.

Top Gun Horse Sales does not assume any responsibility while potential buyers are on consignors property. For any reason what so ever. Buyers and spectators are cautioned to be careful while on the grounds and particularly while horses are being shown in the ring. The management and auctioneer cannot be responsible for any accidents.

Buyers assume all expenses and risk on horses after they have been sold.

The highest bidder will be the buyer if the reserve has been met or exceeded. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the horse in dispute shall immediately be put up again for sale.

If you are bidding on a horse it is expected the bid is made in good faith and you the bidder/buyer assume all responsibility for bidding on the horse; including full payment, GST and a the 3% buyer fee if payment is by credit card, on the total. Registration papers will be given to the buyer as soon as the cheques have cleared.

Only horses consigned to the sale will be allowed on the sale grounds.

All horses consigned to the Top Gun Horse Sale are expected to stay in the sale and be offered for sale on April 9, 2022. All horses must go through the sale ring absolutely no alley trading.

All horses sold will be subject to a 9% sales commission in addition to catalogue fee. The consignor will have the privilege to no sale or pass on his or her horse. If the horse is passed out, the cost to the consignor will be the catalogue fee as well as $100 pass out fee. The accuracy and information of the catalogue pages is the sole responsibility of the consignor. Purchased horses will not change hands until animal has been paid for in full to Top Gun Horse Sales.

The proper brand inspection paperwork shall be completed before horses are removed from the sale site. All buyers are responsible for transportation of their purchases from the sale unless other arrangements have been made with the consignor.

Champ is a well broke 15 year old gelding that has been rode by kids and ladies alike. When someone new comes to the ranch for a ride you guessed it they ride Champ. Champ is a nice gelding to use for sorting and moving pairs or going to the mountains trail riding were he steps over logs crosses creeks with ease and goes through bogs. He has a nice and soft one hand Video Link neck rein and a smooth rocking chair lope. He gets along well with other horses and he don’t pick on anybody. Champ has great barn manner, easy to catch and saddle and is excellent to shoe. She has had a lot of time off in the past but will have a solid 30 days of riding on her by sale day. Gem has some go and needs a job so not suited for a beginner. She loads, ties, and good for the farrier.

Copper is a 7yr old sorrel gelding that stands at 14.1 hands tall. Some of the things we have done on him is calf roped and breakaway, heel and have headed small steers, dragged calf’s at brandings, and goat tied, he has been around the barrel and pole pattern and I have jumped the bull dogging dummy off of him, we have rode him lots in the Coulee’s Video Link and has had pack bags on him, I can also go out into the pasture and shoot gofers off of him without him even blinking an eye, He has had many kids ride him and ride him bare back and is great. Chuck is a 2018 AQHA grey gelding. Has been ranched on and used in the feedlot. He is an extremely friendly and quiet horse that is first to meet you at the gate and a pleasure to be around. He has followed/roped the Heel-O-Matic and roped live cattle outside, great around equipment, dogs and cattle. Most of his miles have been outside to do a job, whether it be loading cattle on trucks, checking cows and doctoring, sorting cattle, or working colts. He rides out good alone or with a group. 2007 gelding, 16.1 hands, built to last, and has a look that catches eyes wherever he goes. This horse is big, strong, and powerful, but soft, light, and sensitive to ride, and as smooth as they come. This is a handy head horse who thoroughly enjoys his job. He can be a little excited in the box the first couple runs, but then levels out and goes Video Link to work. Scores well, runs hard, and gives his best effort every time. He’s a lot of fun to head on. As a barrel horse he is generally in the 2D, but he much prefers chasing cattle over cans, and makes it known. He’s been to many a jackpot, spent a season rodeoing, and knows his job, but it’s not his cup of tea, and to be completely honest, there are lots of more enjoyable barrel horses in the world. He has one cosmetic blemish - he was 8 months old and he got chased into the fence by some broodmares and is missing a piece of his lip. It does not affect him at all. He’s been rode in the feedlot extensively, roped on, ridden in the mountains, and has seen all the sights. He’s good for the farrier, baths, stands tied, good ground manners etc. He neck reins, moves off your legs, collects, and is real nice to ride around, and his personality is nothing short of entertaining. Same horse whether he’s rode daily, or has 6 months off. His only vice would be that he can be a little herd bound. After being professionally started and ridden, I purchased Tater as a 4 year old, and have used him this last summer on a large cow-calf operation. He has experience in all aspects of ranch work including: branding calves, tagging calves, doctoring yearlings and sorting. Video Link While on the ranch he has shown that he is cowy and willing to work all day. In July he was started team roping on the head side and is very focused and is quick to the steer. He is showing excellent potential as he has a ton of run and speed, while still remaining cool and collected in the box. Meet Jezebel, she was my oldest daughter’s first horse. She’s been with us since we purchased her in 2012. The previous owner used her at extreme stables and was her first horse as well. Our family has used her mostly for pleasure riding. She’s been a 4 H horse, used in eventing, we’ve used her at home for many other things such as pulling sleighs Video Link and dragging logs out the bush. Jezebel is very gentle and when at home she makes a great kids horse (as you can see in the videos). She’s very patient with the kids and so easy to catch out in pasture. Spud is a gentle 6 year old gelding who is really nice to be around. Spud is stout made with lots of bone and built to last. We’ve used Spud for every ranch chore from pulling health at the feedlot, pairing out heifers and dragging calves to the fire. Spud is a point and go gelding that doesn’t require a day job, he stays gentle. I’ve also used Spud at Video Link the sale barn weekly sorting and penning calves, he handles all of the commotion flawlessly. Spud has been several miles in the hills he will cross anything you point him at with ease. Another gelding that doesn’t let much bother him. Spud is one of Dallie’s barn favourites, he’s one of the first horses I tied the reins in a knot and let her kick around herself.
