COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements

Workers of residential aged care facilities, inhome and community aged care workers and disability service workers are not to work if unvaccinated. They must prove they are appropriately vaccinated

ACT

Amendments to relevant ACT Public Health Emergency Directions for residential aged care, disability care and in-home and community aged-care workers require staff to receive their booster vaccination 3months (and no more than 6months) after completion of their primary vaccination course. Staff that do not comply with this Direction will be prevented from working until they receive their booster vaccine or are issued a temporary exemption.

Victoria

You must have already received 3 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (or have an exemption) to be able to work onsite

Queensland

Health service employees, and workers in aged care and disability care must be up-todate with their COVID-19 vaccinations, To be considered up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, you must have completed all the doses recommended for your age and health status, which is at least 3 doses of a covid-19 vaccine, unless it has been less than 3months since their last dose of the primary dose (2nd dose) .

South Australia

Workers of residential aged care facilities, inhome and community aged care workers and disability service workers are not to work if unvaccinated. They must prove they are appropriately vaccinated.

Western Australia

Vaccine mandates only apply to work forces working with the most vulnerable to protect them from severe disease. Workers captured under the mandatory vaccination directions must have their third (booster) dose administered within one calendar month of becoming eligible. People providing support to individuals in a private residential (home) setting, are not subject to the mandatory vaccination requirements.

Northern Territory & Tasmania

Nil requirements.
