Orthopedic Center. The Pediatric Orthopedic Center is one of the most award-winning orthopedic practices in the tri-state area and is among the largest private pediatric orthopedic practices in the nation. With four locations, the doctors provide world-class care locally at Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Saint Barnabas and Overlook Medical Centers and Short Hills Surgery Center and also have access to NYU Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital when needed.
The Pediatric Orthopedic Center boasts the only urgent care center in the state with a fullystaffed team of pediatric orthopedic specialists. The practice treats fractures and sprains, scoliosis, hip dysplasia, clubfoot and other issues using the most innovative, non-operative, minimally invasive, and arthroscopic surgical techniques available.
The physicians at The Pediatric Orthopedic Center are pioneers in their field. They are the only practice in northern New Jersey with a low-dose, EOS X-ray machine, which uses 10-50 times less radiation than standard x-ray. They are also the first doctors to have introduced several advanced treatments to New Jersey, including hip ultrasound to diagnose hip disorders, growth plate-sparing ACL knee reconstructions, Ponseti non-operative treatment of clubfoot, and minimally invasive scoliosis surgery.
The practice offers walk-in pediatric orthopedic urgent care Monday through Thursday, as well as Saturday in Cedar Knolls and also offers telemedicine options.
