Darrin Campbell, B.Com, CPA-CMA President

Mr. Campbell is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with 20 years of executive financial management experience and served as the CFO of the Company from March 2017 – 2021. He has provided contract accounting and financial services to numerous public and private companies and played key leadership roles in financings and transactions taking companies public onto the TSX-V. From 2013-2014 he was the CFO of Ressources Appalaches and was the financial leader bringing into production Nova Scotia’s first operating gold mine in over 14 years. Mr. Campbell obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University in 1996 and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia
Peter Espig
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Espig assumed the role of President and CEO on November 7, 2013 and guided the Company through its restructuring, which included entering the company into CCAA and successfully exiting on November 21, 2014. He is experienced in the analysis of investment opportunities, raising capital, deal sourcing, financial structuring, and corporate turnaround. Mr. Espig has structured over US$2.0 billion in private equity and preIPO investment transactions from the principal side and is a pioneer of SPACs, having completed over $1.0 BN in transactions.
Mr. Espig served as Vice-President of the Principal Finance and Securitization Group and Asia Special Situations Group for Goldman Sachs Japan. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Espig was Vice-President of Olympus Capital, a New York private equity firm, where he participated in corporate restructurings, investment analysis and financing negotiations for both domestic and international investments.
In 1989, Mr. Espig received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and later received his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a Chazen International Scholar.
Mr. Espig has been active in the turnaround of mining projects and has functioned in management and director roles for numerous mining companies.
Kendra Johnson

Kendra is a Professional Geologist and senior mining executive with over 15 years of experience in various facets of the mineral exploration and mining industry. Having spent most of her career working in BC and Yukon, she is a passionate industry advocate for responsible mineral exploration. With a strong, inclusive and collaborative leadership style, Kendra provides AME with extensive, knowledge and experience in public geoscience, financial and capital markets, Indigenous engagement, as well as the social and regulatory landscapes that affect mineral exploration. Kendra’s leadership and advocacy helps to promote British Columbia as the top global jurisdiction for responsible and inclusive mineral exploration and development and as a major international hub for an industry that shares AME’s core values.
Kendra graduated from the University of Victoria with BSc in Earth Sciences and Geography and the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University with an MBA. Kendra also holds a Certificate in Responsible Leadership from Queen’s University and a Certificate in Mining Law from York University. Before joining AME, Kendra was the President of Independence Gold Corp., a BC and Yukon explorer, with increasing levels of responsibility from Project Geologist to President. She has also sat on numerous Boards, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Britannia Mine Museum.
Catalin Kilofliski Chief Executive Officer Canagold
Mr. Kilofliski has over 25 years of executive leadership experience and a track record of creating significant shareholder value for various mining companies.
In 2020 he helped grow TSX.V listed Tudor Gold Corp from $30M to over $500M in market capitalization. In the last decade, he has helped raise over $300M in equity, debt and JV capital.
Mr. Kilofliski has an intimate knowledge of Canagold and the New Polaris project as he was Canagold’s CEO from 2014 to 2018. Under his leadership, Canagold was named one of the top 100 companies in BC, by BC Business..
