Quaterra Resources has named Travis Naugle as CEO. He is a seasoned mining executive and has led in the design, construction, and operation of mining projects in the U.S., Eurasia, Russia, and Asia. His focus is on environmental and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with local and Indigenous peoples, negotiating international joint ventures, and securing a bilateral mining treaty between two sovereign nations. A licenced P.Eng., Naugle received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a degree in mining engineering from Montana Tech.

Gold Resource has named Alberto Reyes the company’s new COO. He has more than 20 years of experience in mining operations in North and Latin America, South Africa, Australia, the Philippines, Ghana and Brazil. Reyes has progressively held more senior roles in Newcrest Mining, GoldFields, Luna Gold, and most recently, was VP operations at Coeur Mining. He holds a B.Eng mining from Laurentian University and is a chartered professional mining and a qualified person with the AusIMM.

David Anonychuk is joining the SGS Natural Resources team as global VP, metallurgy and consulting. He brings 25 years of international mining and metallurgical experience as a metallurgical engineer and mineral economist. Anonychuk has an extensive background in strategy development, operations, capital budgets, and commercial sales, and a diverse range of project experience including feasibility studies, on the ground due diligence, independent technical reviews, risk assessments, project ranking, financial and business modelling, and metallurgical test work.

» Roland Phelps has retired as the president and CEO of Galantas Gold. Mario Stifano is now CEO and who will also take Phelps’ seat on the board. Brendan Morris has been named COO, and Bret Omland has joined the board.

» As part of its strategic review, Angkor Resources has appointed Delayne Weeks as CEO, replacing Stephen Burega, who is leaving the company, and Mike Weeks as executive VP operations.

» Derek Macpherson has joined Gold79 Mines as president and CEO.

» Richard Goodwin is now president of Arcland Resources.

» Marimaca Copper president Hayden Locke will assume the role of CEO and join the board. Petra Decher will become CFO and resign her seat on the board. The new role of COO will be filled by Luis Tondo and Laura Rich has been named general counsel and corporate secretary.

» Arianne Phosphate has made the following management changes: Jeffrey Beck as CEO and a director and Brian Ostroff as president. » Weiting (Camille) Zhou is the new CFO at C2C Gold. » Canadian Manganese has named Matthew Allas its new president and CEO. » Cory Belyk has been promoted to CEO and executive VP at CanAlaska Uranium. Peter Dasler will continue as the company’s president.

» Liberty Gold has appointed Brian Martin as VP business development.

» Dawn Madahbee Leach, a director of Niobay Metals, has been appointed the chair of the National Indigenous Economic Development Board. » Rohan Hazelton is succeeding Don MacDonald as a director, president and CEO of NorZinc.

» Alex Heath is the new CEO and president of Ethos Gold. Craig Roberts stepped down as CEO is now chairman.

» Ophir Gold has announced the resignation of president and director Jonathan Armes. Additionally, VP exploration Garry Clark has stepped down and will be replaced by Darren L. Smith, who is also a director.

Tim Arnold¸ COO of Integra Resources has been given the University of Idaho’s Silver and Gold Award for alumni who have a distinguished record of achievement and service.
