This year’s Grand Prize Surtees 750 Game Fisher has been specifically designed and set up for both serious fishers and for those who love cruising around the coast. It features a large, 400-litre fuel tank for extended offshore cruising, 530 litres of water ballast for even greater stability both underway and at rest and an absolutely eyecatching iridescent wrap courtesy of Brave Design. Included are an 80-litre fresh water tank, an electric hot water shower and sink, Engel electric fridge and an electric toilet. There is a live bait tank, an enclosed platform complete with boarding ladder, protective pushpits, the latest Surtees bait station and so much more.

YAMAHA F250 & HELM MASTER EX

The Grand Prize boat is powered by a F250 XCA, a new generation 4.2 litre, big bore V6 that boasts the largest capacity in its class yet weighs in at just 253kgs! It is matched with Yamaha’s unique new Helm Master EX: the world’s first fully integrated boat control system for a single engine. Featuring a full-manoeuvrability joystick, digital electronic control, digital electric steering and Yamaha autopilot, the Helm Master EX delivers an unprecedented level of control and navigation and boasts new singlefunction buttons to engage popular Helm Master modes such Drift Point and Fish Point.

HOSKING CUSTOM TRAILER

The Grand Prize’s stunning Hosking custom tandem trailer comes complete with a Trailparts Credo Direct Brake system and wireless brake controller. These allow the lucky winner to simply “plug in and go”, using any vehicle with a 3500kg towing capacity, without having to install a hard-wired brake controller.

The trailer also features a Fulton XLT 4,500kg electric winch, a 15:1 manual back up winch and 40 Jakaar multi rollers to make the Grand Prize easy to retrieve after a day’s boating and fishing.

Also included are fantastic-looking alloy rims and a Trojan stainless steel brake system.

Note: Completed admission tickets can be placed in the Grand Prize Entry Booths in either the Gate 4 Marquee or Hall 5.

HOW TO WIN

Visit all 8 clearlymarked stamping booths (see below) and place a stamp from each in the correct box on your paid admission ticket (when all stamps are correctly in place they will spell SURTEES1).

Complete the ticket, answering all questions and writing clearly. Place the completed ticket in the Entry Box in either the Gate 4 Marquee or Hall 5.

THE DRAW

The Grand Prize will be drawn under independent supervision between 7pm and 7.30pm on Sunday, May 16, 2021 and streamed live on Facebook (boatshownewzealand). The first ticket drawn will be checked to ensure that it has been correctly filled in, with the eight stamps all in their correct places. If the ticket is deemed to be correctly completed, we will immediately ring the nominated phone number on the ticket (NB: this is expected to be between 7pm and 7.30pm). If the call is answered, the person whose name is on the ticket will have won the 2021 Surtees/ Yamaha Grand Prize!

In the event the call is not answered, for any reason, that ticket will be deemed invalid, another drawn and the validation process repeated.
