SE Series Slip-Ons & True Duals
SE’s race-proven baffle gives you 10-12% more hp. These are non disc-based. King of bottom-mid range torque. 3dB louder than stock, but SAE-J2825 sound compliant. Steel, Chrome-Plated shells. Steel core. Internal baffle heat shield keeps them bluing-free. Compatible with 15 end caps. SE’s are commonly known as the “old H-D Performance II muffler”, which our 15 end caps also fit. SE’s include a non-serviceable core, meaning that their core cannot be re-packed, only replaced. An optional replacement core is sold separately and will make the SE’s rebuildable. Compatible w/ True Duals (pg. 28).
Note 1: Installation of True Duals on 2014 and newer Touring models, other than CVO, will require the use of an alternate air cleaner housing. The larger design of the O.E. housing interferes w/ the routing of the front head pipe and will not allow proper fitment. Use of an air cleaner w/ a smaller outside profile is required. Note 2: Sound test data on ‘10 -’15 model specific Slip-Ons was achieved using the OEM CAT-equipped headpipe. Use of these mufflers on a headpipe w/ the CAT removed or True Duals will result in substantially louder results.
