FOREWORD
Early in 2014, I started out sending an email containing a paragraph or so to 15 of my friends as a reminder of the motorcycle event opportunities that were out there. There were always things that we were missing that we wanted to support: rides, charities, and events that we didn't hear about until it was over. In 2015, as my email distribution list grew to over 100, I stopped emailing and began a newsletter on the internet. Two Years later, it has developed into a magazine. My goal is to list all those events within an hours ride of Clarksville, TN. There are so many events that people don't know about that are all about supporting worthy causes. I seek out all that I can find, list them here, then print and distribute once per month in hard copy. Remember: Sometimes locations and times change due to conflicts, weather, and I also have have been misinformed and made mistakes so before you take those vacation days, verify the event yourself. National Motorcycle Ride Day Event Date/Time Saturday, October 8, 2016 Event Type General Ride Event Description The Registrar of National Day Calendar has designated the second Saturday in October of each year as National Motorcycle Ride Day. Ride of the Month Now that the weather is finally getting warmer, I suggest a short ride or two to get you used to being back on two wheels. My suggestion is to ride down to Riverside Drive in Clarksville and visit Pbody's. I personally love the place. Great service and some of the best food around. You can sit out back in the summer and look out at the Cumberland river. Check it out – you will be glad you did.
