This publication is dedicated to the “Enviast” in all of us. From the builder’s, club’s, racers, supplier’s and writer’s that grace these pages. Bikers Envy Magazine was started now two years ago. During this time period many of you have seen me begin with a DVD, Tablet, Pencil and a sharpie written T-Shirt that I wrote the name of the magazine on with. Whether it was at the Sonic, High Five Cycle’s or Local Drag Strip, I was there. I would like to take this time to thank all that supported the growth and the efforts that has been placed into this publicaation. There was an extended time period between issue’s due to events that were out of my control. These events ranged from tragedy to restructure of this organization. All the clubs, riders, writers and friends as well as foe, thank you for all the encouragement. “Bikers Envy Magazine” will continue to grow and become more of an advid part of our community. rather that be in sponsorship, community envolvement, partnering with further positive’s that to will continue to change the negative stereotypical view’s that has been placed on our community as a whole. The old monicar that Cruiser’s doesn’t mix with Sportbike’s and vice versa has become a thing of the past. Along with the ignorance that “the mixture of race’s in this community will not happen” also is becoming a thing of the past. When we ride down the highway and see a fellow rider, regardless of his/her two wheels of choice, we acknowledge each other. I guess what im saying is this publication is one thats dedicated and apart of us all. Now that that’s done, flip through the pages, read the articles and invision what everyone has done to their pieces of work. “Lets show up and show out”! Sincerely Editor-N-Chief,

Tyree R.

Be “The fierceness of his dark glaring eyes piercing through the low lying windshield” Simply walking by, you are struck with awe in a single glance. The instantly recognizable bodywork and distinctive Hayabusa logo let you know you are catching a glimpse of the legendary beast that years ago dethroned the Super Blackbird. Stretched long and lean its chromed piping is polished to a blinged out shine, resembling sinewy muscles tensed and ready to leap into action at the slightest hint of acceleration. The fierceness of his dark glaring eyes piercing through the low lying windshield reminds you of a steel and chrome panther ready to strike. Instinctively, your heartbeat elevates and you take a step back. The Myrtle West 240 tire kit

further enhances this vision. The fat rear tire that would intimidate any predator provides this animal with precision movement, smooth operation and jaw dropping speed. Without even a second look you know this beast ain’t playin’ and yet you can’t just turn and walk away from the challenge of his stare. You are transfixed by the images seeming to appear and then disappear throughout the candy blue and silver paint. The precise detail combined with an almost liquid appearance of marble accents dare you to reach out and touch its shiny coat. The thick, blue alligator skin seat is a con8 tradiction of comfort and aggression.

The finest of rare, premium materials promise unlimited comfort while presenting the image of sleek hunter awaiting it’s prey. Your mind is confused by the surprising luxury on a rare animal whose sole purpose appears to be the ability to chew up the road with an abundance of torque and power. This exotically, extreme machine is a beast ready to kill the streets. Your adrenaline jumps at the thought of hearing this animal roar to life as the 1299cc engine with dry shot nitrous in engaged. The classic, elegant lines will fool them every time and soon all they will see is a glimpse of your license plate. The latest high tech air shifter is tucked in along the

right side to remain practically unseen while providing ¼ mile usage that will overwhelm your senses as it blows past you. This beast is fierce with its ’99 stock frame and BROCK performance kit and pipes installed to release all restrictions and allow this animal to hurl down the highway at speeds in excess of 200mph. The occasional NOS shot declares this is a monster with a big appetite ready prepared to devour whatever stands in its way. When the sun goes down a myriad of LEDs illuminate the bike and it becomes like a bolt of blue lightening shooting down the street and leaving the spectator in shock and amazement. Larry Hollins of Wichita, Ka., has turned customization of his prized Suzuki Hayabusa into artwork. It’s as though he looked into the heart and soul of a beast and transformed this machine to match his vision. The man himself reps the sport bike scene on a daily 9 basis with this rolling wonder. Since 2002, Larry has been a

member of Phat Azz Bikes, a group almost 30 strong, whose loyalty and commitment to family and community displays the pride of a truly confident and giving association. Much like the rare, exotic animals on which they ride, Phat Azz Bikes is a protective and strong group representing a study in raw power and grace. Their devotion to the sport bike scene is inspiring and the number of outrageous modifications. Larry has implemented new meaning to the phrase “Custom Fabrication.” As your eyes follow the marbled blue and silver paint down the length of its stretched body, the sun shimmering on the polished chrome chassis so brightly you have to slip your shades on & the fat rear tire poking out ever so evidently that you cant help but admire the Envy in him, question is : “ Are you an Enviast ” ?

“Something about a female rider”…. That is what I’m sure most of the ladies that ride have heard one time or another. When the ladies are out there on that slab enjoying there day they always have eyes on them. Some people will make a way to ride beside them, behind them, and if they are lucky get a picture of them. But when you ask them “What is it about a female rider” they really can’t give you a solid explanation. Well let’s help them out shall we: Thought A: Something about a woman riding something that is taboo that only men have done Thought B: Something about a woman handling something so big and powerful that it turns him on. Thought C: It’s a woman

11

being independent on something that has a lot of power that some men are afraid of. Thought D: It’s the way she looks while riding (simple one). Well what ever the reason for wanting to admire the lovely ladies out here on these dangerous machines just know that they ride just as hard, even harder than some men. The ladies have started to customize and stretch with 240 kits, they are installing and painting like the big boys as well. They are still ladies and expect to still be treated like ladies. The bikes will never differentiate the gender so just respect each other. Co-Co

When you hear the name “Hayabusa”, you automatically begin to vision death defying speed, sick customs, throaty pipes, monster turboʼs, the surprise of seeing that you have been passed by a woman when she demountʼs that thing or hear storyʼs about this being the motorcycle to beat. On November 13th, Bikers Envy Magazine had the honor to accompany this Motorcycle Club with there honoring of the troops coming home. Red Crimson Paint ( 4 ) 6*9 Speakers ( 4 ) 1’ inch Dome tweeters Alpine Mono Block Amp Dedicated Apple Ipod /Connection Gator Skin Seat Extended Gas Tank 21’ Inch Front Wheel

Introducing the ear piercing Red Crimson Harley Street Glide geared for the ongoing pursuit of adventure. Leading the way on this quest comes the blood red Suzuki Hayabusa speed machine. The Hayabusa stands no chance against the Harley’s storage capacity, but the Harley would have trouble maintaining the speed capabilities as the Hayabusa. Speed is not an issue for the Harley’s speakers. They are guaranteed to slow the Hayabusa down in awe, as it marvels how incredibly loud the Harley’s speakers can get. They have been equipped with all the necessary attributes for their choice of appeal. Both have a couple of things in common, but one thing definitely

sticks out the most between these two. That is, they are definitely dressed to impress. The manufacturer of the first bike is none other than the legendary Harley Davidson Motor Company. The owner, Mr. B. Jones purchased it and poured his vision into it by conceiving a bike of his own liking. Jones is 42 and works in the field of Law Enforcement. Jones resides in Dallas and works for the Dallas Police Department. Even though his job is obviously demanding, he still manages to balance out his time between riding and working. He is also a man of God and belongs to a motorcycle club, Soul Rydaz. One of the qualifications of this club are: to just

18

come together for the enjoyment of the ride in fellowship and is a family oriented organization as well. Being an avid motorcyclist, you would probably know that it is almost impossible to keep the noise down on a bike. Even with earplugs, helmets and ear plugs, you can still hear the mesmerizing rumble of a bike’s engine. This bike proves this notion to be right in so many ways. It defines the very meaning of loud! It has a sound system like no other. Powered by a powerful Alpine Amp, this bike has 4 6X9 speakers installed and embedded into it. It can play as loud as a car, if not louder! As if this bike wasn’t loud enough, it also has a wicked ex-

The bike roars like a beast down tended tank that looks like a long stretched out Maniacal tongue. While the highway and if that weren’t the tunes from an iPod are pumpenough, the custom finder resembles that of a beast’s tail. This and ing as loud as the speakers possibly can the tongue comes into play. The the gator skin make it so the bike’s animalistic nature is unleashed and music dances on this bike’s tongue and reverberates off the pavement in presented for all to see. harmony with the motor and burning The bike has a slightly narrower front wheel than standard for rubber. This bike redefines the old this type of bike. It has a 21inch slogan “the roar of the highway!” It also has two majorly extended Arlen wheel up and 18 inche in the back. Ness style saddle bags that just scream This gives it a subtle difference in for an extended excursion. With this the bike’s ride that only a person whom Envies motorcycles would addition, it can take on the longest ride with less stops and more space to be able to notice. It gives it less cushion, but overall more control store the necessity. This would prove perfect for over the bike. The wheels tame this that all day get away from the normal beast for the rider. Giving Jones agenda and routine. The seat is made more control of it than it having of gator skin and the bike also has a more control over him. custom trick fender. Two things that you just don’t see everyday on a bike.

The next bike is none other than the Suzuki Hayabusa. The bike was bought and perfected by Ervin Coleman II. Coleman is 45 and lives in Desoto, TX. He is a PC Technician, so you know he finds a use for all the extra gadgets and functions of his bike. This bike has a remote starter that is guaranteed to get a positive reaction and wow the crowds. This means you can be several feet away as you walk towards the bike and pull out the remote starter and it’s already waiting for you to get on and ride. Also, it is impossible to get by this bike unnoticed while on it. It has a rear view camera and monitor on it. This enables free monitoring of all the action going on behind the bike as the road unfolds beneath its wheels. It also has another screen front and center with a DVD player installed. Just incase you get too tired of the ride, or for just plain leisure. It also has the popular Sirius Satellite radio which is commercial free, so the groove doesn’t get interrupted while on the ride. The turn signals are inte-

20

grated into the tail of motorcycle. This bike also has billet chrome frame sliders and an alarm system, just incase. The airbrushed blood red color of the bike is completely custom by Coleman and is brought to life by the employment of its Polished Chrome frame. Full body lights can illuminate this bike at night, so you can see the Japanese characters on the windshield. The handlebars also have polished chrome encoding their surface. This bike also has a glass clutch cover instead of a metallic one to provide some insght to its inner heart beat. Also, this makes it so the clutch’s action is displayed in full view. Once it is used enough, the full effect of it’s glow bright red surface can be seen. This gives the bike a hot and raw attitude. It can take any amount of trials and still be ready for more. The extended exhaust pipes shoot out from behind the clutch, which gives the bike an added personified notion that it has animated qualities. Also to continue with this animated feature, its custom mirrors look

like eyes that stare right back at you. They are oval shapes turned on the side to look like eyes staring right back at you! It loves looking at its prey before its devoured! Like the Harley, it has a Gator skin seat as well. When you think of a the name Hayabusa, one of the first things that should enter your mind is speed. It has a 1300 standard engine with a complete Nitrous Oxide system, just in case. The wheels are by RC Component and feature a 330mm single-side tubular wide wheel with a Venom tire out back. In the back of this motorcycle is where most of the balance for the function of extra speed exists. It has a swing-arm that has been extended 18’, so

it makes it really hard for the front wheel’s tire to ever leave the ground and see any air time. This bike is very efficiently fast to the point that it is safe to get up to those high speeds and maintain them as well. It also has an air ride system built on it that will allow one of the smoothest rides while providing ample clearance over the rough roads beneath it. Coleman’s Hayabusa and Jones’s Harley. Two different people and bikes with completely different attitudes but possess the same common goals. Both share the desire to experience and enjoy the thrill of the ride in different ways.

21

These are all things that all lovers of motorcycles in general have in common and can appreciate. You can certainly say that Jones and Coleman have an advid Biker’s Envy.
