Tonal contrast test / This tests every isolated color of the palette in conjunction with tonal backgrounds that range from densities of black from 100% down to 5%. Complementary / This is a representation of each palette to its complementary colors in black and white backgrounds. In order for the comparison to be more efficient they are set next to each other. Text contrast in black and white background / In this test we see if the colors of the palette can be used well for text, and has the desired contrast with the background. We check against both white and black backgrounds. Transparent to white / transparent to black / In this section the colors of the palette are be tested in various transparency settings, so that we can understand how functional they can be under these conditions. By using a transparency scale graded from 0% up to 95% in steps of 5%, we can assess their efficiency in 20 different situations of transparency in black and white fonts. This check is very important especially to digital artists, and designers for digital media.
