Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals Requirements
The Obama administration in June of 2012 announced an administrative program for undocumented students who has entered the United States illegally when brought by their parents. The program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals also known as DACA, allowed undocumented individuals that arrived as a minor and were still under 31 that are currently enrolled in school or had graduated from high school to apply for a temporary status that granted them an employment authorization document (work permit). This infographic discussed the highlights of the program and its popularity in its first year.
