MILKOLYTE GEL Oral Rehydration for Diarrhoea in Calves
Presentation: A bottle, containing 480ml of liquid, which is intended, following mixing with milk or drinking water, for oral administration in Calves in order to stabilise water and electrolyte balance. Recommended Uses: Milkolyte Gel is indicated for use in calves. It is intended for use in case of risk of, during periods of, or recovery from digestive disturbance (diarrhoea). It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. Complementary dietetic feeding-stuff. Administration: Milkolyte Gel is for Oral use only. Shake well before use. Remove lid and squeeze the bottle until 20ml is in the dispenser. Mix 20ml with 1 litre of tepid milk or water.
To maintain electrolyte levels, feed 2 litres of milk ( or water) containing Milkolyte Gel twice daily for two days or more if necessary. Prepare a fresh solution before each administration. Precautions: Keep out of the reach and site of children. For animal use only. Ingredients: Sodium Chloride, Glucose, Sodium citrate, Potassium chloride, Sodium acetate, Sodium propionate. Concentrate: Sodium 16%, Chloride 19.4%, Potassium 4.7% Crude Protein 0%, Crude Fibre 0% Crude Fat 0%, Crude Ash 38% Packaging Quantities: 480 ml. Sufficient for 24 litres or 12 feeds
