Veterinary Use Only Active Ingredients per mL: Penicillin G Benzathine 150,000 I.U.; Penicillin G Procaine 150,000 I.U. Preservative per mL: Methylparaben 1.1 mg SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. INDICATIONS: As an aid in the treatment of local and systemic infections caused by penicillin-sensitive organisms in cattle, sheep, swine, horses, dogs and cats, including foot rot, erysipelas, strangles and clostridial infections.
WARNING: This product must not be administered to lactating cows. Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 14 days after the latest treatment with this drug. STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store below 15°C and keep from freezing. 1PRO212/8PRO212
ADMINISTRATION and DOSAGE: For intramuscular use only. CATTLE - SHEEP - SWINE - HORSES - DOGS - CATS: 2.25 - 4.50 kg: .....................................................0.5 mL 4.50 - 22.50 kg:....................................................1.0 mL 22.50 - 67.50 kg:..................................................2.0 mL 67.50 kg and over:..2.0 mL per 67.50 kg of body weight. Treatment can be repeated in 3 - 5 days if required, or as recommended by a veterinarian. CAUTION: Occasional sensitivity (anaphylaxis) to penicillin has been known to occur. In such cases, administer epinephrine immediately. In suckling and growing pigs, administration of penicillin G procaine may occasionally cause transient pyrexia, vomiting, shivering, listlessness and incoordination. Abortions have also been reported in pregnant sows and gilts. If no improvement of the condition is noted within 36-48 hours, the treatment/ diagnosis should be reevaluated and a veterinarian consulted. 8PRO212 Procillin LA_Tech_03/11
