Observations To fight against reinfestations of Dipylidium caninum, having the flea as intermediate host, use the integrate treatment to combat fleas. In the case of Ancylostoma caninum, each adult ingest about 0.1 mL of blood daily, and severe infestations are used to being fatal for the puppies. The larvae from this worm pass through the mammary gland to milk; penetrate through the skin and are ingested from contaminated environments. On the other hand, Toxocara canis infestates puppies by crossing the placenta barrier; getting to milk through mammary gland or by eggs ingestion. The female dog may occasionally acquire worms by ingesting poultry or rodents. Larvae from the last worms remain inactive in the musculature of female dog, producing infestations for several consecutive young animals. Together with deworming, a rigorous cleaning of the environment must be done with active chlorine base product, effective against larvae and worms eggs. Unit Package Package with 04 tablets of 800 mg each in aluminized envelope. Species: dogs and cats.
HORMONES
CLOCIO
Luteolytic Agent for Cattle Comprised by cloprostenol, a PGF2α synthetic analog, with low toxicity and fast removal by the organism. Its action stems the morphological regression of luteo body (luteolysis) and subsequent reduction of peripheral concentrations of progesterone, followed by an increase in the discharge of gonadotropin and by the return to rutting and normal ovulation. Formula Each 100 mL contains: Cloprostenol sodium (equivalent to 25 mg of cloprostenol)............ 26.30 mg Excipients.......................................... q.s....................................... 100.00 mL Indications • Undetectable estrus (silent rut) • In cows by the time of lactation peak, there is a poor rut manifestation, despite the normal ovarian activity. In those cases, females should be evaluated by means of rectal palpation to confirm the presence of luteo body. After confirmation, treat with 2 mL of Clorut and observe the rut before the insemination. • It is important to highlight that before submitting any animal to a reproduction program, this animal must be evaluated mainly what concerns the body status and nutrition. • The product efficiency is related to the presence of functional luteo body; therefore Clorut should not be used in animals which are before the 5th day post-estrus and not after the 16th day postestrus. Below, two examples of programs that may be used: a) After performing an exam to proven the existence of luteo body (rectal palpation or ultrasound), use a dose of Clorut and in the next rut detection, proceed artificial insemination or natural breeding. b) Perform rut observation for six running days and use a dose of Clorut on the sixth day of observation in animals that showed no rut. In the next rut, proceed the artificial insemination or natural breeding. Normally the answer of a single dose of Clorut occurs in up to six days after using the product. Benefits • High efficiency: cloprostenol is a potent luteolytic agent. • Enhances reproduction levels. • More control over the reproduction handling of the property. Dosage Species

HORMONES
Synchronizer of Follicular Development and Ovulation Inductor in Cattle Solution of estradiol benzoate that acts in the cattle female reproduction cycle by inducing the regression of ovarian follicles (when used in the presence of progesterone), what will allow the start of a new follicular wave or inducing ovulation of the existing follicle pre-ovulatory, when used in the absence of progesterone.
Benefits • May be used in different protocols of rut synchronization and IATF. • Enhances reproduction levels. • More control over the reproduction handling of property. Dosage Of parenteral use, used exclusively intramuscularly, in the doses from 2 to 3 mL, that is, 2 to 3 mg of estradiol benzoate per animal. The dose and interval between doses depend on the reproduction program used by Veterinarian and the animal reaction. MASTICEL
INTRAMAMMARY
Oily Suspension with Cefoperazone for Intra-Mammary Use Antibiotic of the cephalosporin family of third generation. It has bactericide activity with action before a large variety of germs gram-positives and gram-negatives, aerobics that cause the mastitis. As it is a cephalosporin of third generation, cefoperazone has more efficiency anti-microbic and more capacity of resisting to beta-lactamases enzymes produced by most of the pathogen gram-negatives, when compared to cephalosporin of 1st and 2nd generation and to penicillin. Formula Each syringe of 10 mL contains: Cefoperazone sodium....................... 250.00 mg Excipients.................. q.s..................... 10.00 mL Indications Indicated in treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis, caused by bacteria sensitive to cefoperazone sodium such as Streptococcus spp, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus spp (including penicillinase producers) and others at the Veterinarian’s discretion, once the treatment prescribed is validated by a bacterial sensitivity test (antibiogram). Benefits • Keeps its therapeutical effect inside the mammary gland for an extended period (48 hours). • A single application is enough for healing in most of the cases. • Used in treatment of clinical and subclinical Mastitis. • Combat the main agents of Mastitis. Dosage and use Topic use, intra-mammary. Take all milk away from the affected part, wash and disinfect the teat, dry with a clean towel and introduce a cannula in the teat channel to be treated. Apply the syringe content and massage the quarter teat from the teat softly, so that the drug may reach the higher regions. Disinfect the teat with adequate product after drug usage. Masticel maintains its therapeutic effect inside the mammary gland for an extended period (48 hours), being a single application enough for healing in most cases. However, in more severe cases such as chronic and systemic mastitis, it may be necessary to repeat treatment within 24 hours, at the Veterinarian’s discretion. Unit Package Plastic disposable syringe with 10 mL, and a cannula for application. Withdrawal Period Milk: 4 days Meat: 2 days Species: cattle.

FERTAL
Formula Each mL contains: Elementary Iron (in complex Iron Hydroxide-Dextran-Iron)........... 100.00 mg (*) Excipients.......................................... q.s...........................................1.00 mL (*) Equivalent to 330 mg of Complex Iron-Dextran Indications Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia in cattle and swine, mostly in newborn piglets, providing growth acceleration and faster fattening. The newborn animals have a limited iron reserve in the body and maternal milk is a very poor source of this mineral. The use of complex iron-carbohydrate has been used in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia and the preventive treatment with iron-dextran is considered efficient, and must be used as routine in young piglets. Fertal is used aiming at supplying animals iron needs, mainly swine during the first 3 weeks of life, preventing hypochromic anemia or iron deficiency anemia or microcytic from happening. The anemia is manifested by difficult breathing (explained by the low content of hemoglobin in the red blood cells), discoloration of visible mucus membranes and the skin, diarrhea and high mortality due to secondary infections. Benefits • Prevent and treats iron deficiency anemia in cattle and swine mostly in newborn piglets. • Provides growth acceleration and fattening.
