Whenever we buy a computer or install a new operating system, we are typically satisfied with how fast the computer works. However, with the passing of time, we start to get annoyed with our computers because it keeps freezing or lagging. We just want to know how to make it work fast again without losing any data. In this tutorial, we will explain the necessary steps required to fix Windows 8 when your computer won't load properly. This will make your computer fast again by refreshing Windows 8, resetting your computer, and restoring the computer to a specific date. You'll need a Windows 8 CD. Let’s begin making your computer faster!

Step 1: Turn on your computer and insert a Windows 8 CD. After that, press “F12″ to boot from CD-ROM/DVDROM. Note: Not every computer uses “F12” to boot a CD. Different buttons are used, but “F12” is the most common. Another way of booting a CD is to set the boot priority in BIOS.

After you press the “F12” button, the following window will show up. Choose to start from your CDROM/DVD-ROM driver and press “Enter”. In my case my DVD-ROM is “MATSHITADVD-RAM”.

After you press “Enter,” your computer will start to boot the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM. You will get the message, "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD.

Step 2: Once the setup has loaded the files, this window will show up. In this window, press “Repair your computer.

After you press “Repair your computer” the following window will show up. Choose the second option, “Troubleshoot,” to refresh, reset, or use advanced tools.

Once you have chosen “troubleshoot,” the following window will show up. In this window you have three options: to refresh your computer (which will remove all the apps you have installed and will keep your files), reset your PC (which will delete all of your files), and “advanced options." Advanced options includes: "System Restore", "System Image Recovery", "Automatic Repair", and "Command Prompt."

If you want to restore your computer to a specific date, then press "System Restore." If you have a System Image, you can recover Windows using it. If there is something preventing your computer from loading, then press “Automatic Repair.

If you chose to use “System Restore,” all you have to do is select a specific date that you want your computer to restore. If you chose “Automatic Repair” your computer will start to diagnose the operating system .Wait for this window to finish and then your computer might load properly again.
