Abstract promote the use of inexpensive plant materials Most epoxy resins are produced industrially and the raw materials used in the production phase are largely petroleum-based. However, the use of bio-based herbal materials instead of petroleum based materials will be more efficient in terms

sensitivity It is becoming more and more important to produce bio-based herbal materials instead of petroleum based materials. In this context, this product differs from other types.

These materials reduce dependence on oil and promote the use of inexpensive plant materials that are abundant in nature. In this context, a bio-based epoxy resin can be produced by combining petroleum-based epoxy resin and rosin materials from pine resin in certain

proportions.

Material After mold

For the convenience of applying epoxy to the floor, the material of the mold I made on the key-lock idea is acetate.

Epoxy resin easily comes out of the mold

made of acetate. Our unit is a highly durable, waterproof and hard floor covering.

It shows the measurements of a unit coming out of the visual mold above. The adhesive is poured on the correction concrete or screed of these units, allowing multiple

combinations to take up space. Each unit is connected with each other like a key-lock relationship. Thus, it is aimed to reduce the adhesives or chemicals to be used between units. Units for corners and edges can be cut with an electric

saw,

rectangular finishers can also be produced. Likewise, by working with different molds, innovation

can be made in the entire coating.

Trials Material trials that can be used instead of chemical epoxy materials

Material trials were made with combinations of water, gelatin, glycerin, cinnamon, cloves, strawberries, alcohol, red pepper and cocoa. However, none of them showed the desired resistance.

This is the most successful experiment. As a result of this experiment, production of heat-resistant, waterproof and durable material was achieved.

The resulting material lost the shape of the mold and shrinked.

Although this experiment did not come out of the mold, it formed a spongy texture. There are gaps on its surface.

This experiment created an elastic form due to excess glycerin.

This experiment did not work due to the insoluble resins and deformation of the material.

The resulting material lost the shape of the mold and shrinked.

Sale Method Bio epoxy material is currently designed as Z-shaped tiles and it is foreseen to be sold with unit price method according to the square meter calculation. The dimensions of each tile are shown on the previous pages. Its depth is 0.6 cm and it is recommended not to be used in volumes where the temperature will be more than room temperature(25 °C, 77 °F) .

RENDERS

Bio epoxy resin tile has been

tested with its transparent color and red color, which is reinforced with food coloring. On the page, you can see the
