Rana Pratap Singh Biography: Rana Pratap was the eldest son of Udai Singh and Maharani Jaiwanta Bai. He was born on 9th May 1540 at Kumbalgarh, Mewar in Rajasthan. This Kumbalgarh and Mewar present we are called Rajasmand(Dist) in Rajasthan. Maharana Pratap had three brothers, Shakthi Singh, Vikram Singh, and Jagmal Singh, and he also had two stepsisters Chand Kanwar and Man Kanwar. Mewar king Udai Singh had 23 sons, in his sons Rana Pratap was the eldest son. Maharana Pratap had daring and heroic qualities since his childhood. Maharana Pratap is 7.5 feet height, 110 kg's weight with a heavy body. He has 37kg's weight of spear, 55 kg's and above body weighed and two heavy swords. If we add all these the weight will be above 200kg's. Now we can see the weapons used by Rana Pratap at Udaipur. Rana Pratap 13th king to Mewar kingdom.

Maharana Pratap Family: Maharana Pratap Singh has 11 wives, 17 sons, and 5 daughters. 1st wife: His first wife's name is Ajbade Punwar. she had two sons Amar Singh and Bhagwan Das. 2nd Wife: His second wife's name is Solankhinipur Bai. She had two sons Sahas Mal and Gopal. 3rd Wife: His third wife name is Champabai Jhansi She had three children's Kachra Singh, Sanwal Das Singh, and Durjan Singh. 4th Wife: His fourth wife's name is Jasobai Chauhan.

She had only one son Kalyan Das. 5th Wife: Phool Bai Rathore was his fifth Wife. She was also called as pool Kaur. She had two children's Chanda Singh and Shekha Singh. 6th Wife: Shamatibai Hada was his sixth wife. She had a one-child her child name Pura. 7th Wife: Khichar Asha Bai was his seventh wife. She had two sons Hathi Singh and Ram Singh. 8th Wife: His eighth wife's name was Alamdevi Chauhan. She had one son his name, Jaswant Singh. 9th Wife: His ninth wife's name was Ratnawati Bai Parmar. She had also one son, his name Maal. 10th Wife: Amar Bai Rathore was his tenth wife. She had a son Kunwar Natha Singh. 11th Wife: his last wife's name was Lakha Bai. She had also one son, his name Kunwar Raibhana Singh. Mewar kings used the title "Maharana" in the place of "Maharaja". Rana means Minister, Mewar kings believed in lord shiva as their king. After the death of Udai Singh, his 3rd wife Rani Dhir Bai wants her son Jagmal Singh to be the king but the Mewar army and higher authorities disobeyed her and made Maharana Pratap as a king. Maharana Pratap become a king half of India was invaded by Akbar the Mughal emperor through wars and forces he invaded a lot of places kept in control. He occupied the whole South India and while going through Nort India he was attracted to the Maharana Pratap kingdom. He decided to defeat Rana Pratap so he married Mewar Princess. Akbar sent six diplomatic missions to the king of Mewar Rana Pratap seeking to negotiate the same sort of peaceful alliance. As part of this alliance, Akbar said he would hand over entire north India to Rana Pratap, and asked him, you have to be my representative. But Rana Pratap rejected Akbar alliances and his offer.

AKBAR ATTACKED CHITTORGARH FORT(1568): In 1568, Akabe along with his army and attacked the Chittorgarh fort. In the terrible war between both of them happened for months. the army of Rana Pratap was unable to withstand before the army of Akbar. then the Maharana Pratap army, Rana Pratap who do not like step back along with his entire family and took them out of the fort and sent them to the Udaipur fort. On the day after they were sent out Akbar occupied the Chittorgarh Fort with the help of his armies. With the intention to capture Pratap Akbar made Jagmal Singh, Shakti Singh, and Sagar Singh join him as they hate Pratap.

HALDIGHATI WAR(JUNE-1576): On 18th June 1576, in Haldighati, a fierce battle took place between Pratap and Akbar armies. The name Haldighati has been derived from the yellow-colored soil of the place. In Haldighat war Akbar soldiers 85,000 and Pratap got ready for the battle with just 20,000 soldiers. Brothers of Pratap Shakti Singh and Sagar Singh were also there in the army of Akbar. In this battle, even now the people continue to say about the heroism showed by Rana Pratap like stories in Maharana Pratap History. A huge army joined the Akbar army, with that Akbar army became even stronger. As they do not have any other choice. Pratap was sent away from the battlefield and remaining Rajput soldiers, Bhil soldiers went behind the mountains there. The war came to end Akbar grabbed the final victory, In this war, 60,000 soldiers from Akbar army and 12,000 soldiers from Pratap army died on the battlefield. In this war, Pratap's favorite horse Chetak was injured and died. Maharana Pratap mentally and financially faced a huge loss because of the Haldighat war. At that time Akbar occupied the main cities of Pratap's kingdom Gogunda, Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh. During that time Pratap and his people got accommodation at the Bhil tribes in the forest.

AKBAR LEAVING INDIA: Pratap fought against Akbar like a roaring tiger with his confidence and he started to take back one by one kingdom which he lost. Due to the continuous attack by Pratap, Akbar was unable to withstand his battle plans when Akbar field to Lahore leaving India. Pratap won the 90 percent of the kingdom which was lost by him, with this victories the dream of Akbar to occupied the Mewar kingdom remained a dream.

how much it is powerful means, In war it lifts Rana Pratap and flies in the air up to elephant height. In the Haldighat war, Chetak front leg was broken, but still, it takes Maharana Pratap to the war. At the last of the Haldighat war, Mahara Pratap soldiers were less. Then soldiers requested Maharana Pratap to leave the war and to save the life, then Chetak runs with 3 legs across hills and rivers and it saves Maharana Pratap life then only Chetak has died. after some days, to remember "Chetak Statue" was built in Chetak dead area. Along with Chetak, Maharana Pratap contains an elephant, it's name is Ramprasad. That elephant has many stories in those days. Akbar hs a desire to get that elephant. To take an elephant, Akbar soldiers used elephants to captured Ramprasad and took to Delhi, Akbar named Ramprasad as "Peer". Akbar ordered his soldiers to control the Ramprasad and get it their side. But Rmprasad was not taken any food and water, after 28 days the Rmprasad died.

MAHARANA PRATAP DIED: A few injuries during the battle made him suffer for a long time and he was unable to the heavy pain, On 29th January 1597 the greatest hero in the battlefield left this world. After the death of Maharana Pratap, his first son Amar Singh became the kong of the Mewar kingdom. Listening to the news about the death of Pratap, even Akbar also had cried it seems. Due to the heroism of Maharana Pratap there the people have built the temples in their hearts for him, we can understand how great a warrior he was. What is your Inspiration? Then Nguyen Van replied my inspiration is the life history of a great warrior, if he had born in my country we would have won the world sometime before itself proudly he said his name Maharana Pratap. After the death of the president of Vietnam Nguyen Van on his grave, it was written that "This is the grave of the devotee of Maharana Pratap" it seems.
