Having the opportunity to make a real difference in patients’ lives and help further establish BioHorizons Camlog as a brand that dental professionals can rely on is a real privilege. Since joining in 2020, I have taken great pride in leading the UK & Ireland Team to three consecutive ‘Subsidiary of the Year’ awards and I am proud to work with a quality-led, patient-focused company that provides premium products and premium service without compromising on value.
Celebrating this milestone with BioHorizons Camlog is an honour. I want to thank our dedicated team, valued customers, and long-standing partners across the globe – each and everyone is a testament to the hard work, passion, and advancements that have guided BioHorizons Camlog on this remarkable journey. In the beginning…
Once upon a time, two companies with distinct legacies and unique strengths found themselves at the crossroads of opportunity in the dynamic landscape of the dentistry business. Their stories, though divergent, shared common threads of science, innovation, and a commitment to excellence in evidence-based dental implant products.
This is the heritage story of the remarkable fusion between BioHorizons and Camlog
BioHorizons, a pioneer in engineering smiles through dental implants and tissue regeneration solutions, has a legacy dating back to 1994. Born out of Birmingham, Alabama, USA, their journey was marked by ground-breaking research, innovations, and a relentless pursuit of quality. Meanwhile, in Germany, at the epicentre of high technology, Camlog was founded in 1999, establishing itself as a formidable force in the manufacturing of dental implants.
Combined forces, accelerated evolution
Since 2016, BioHorizons Camlog have been strategically joining forces under the umbrella of the Henry Schein Global Oral Reconstruction Group. In coming together, both entities began to weave a new narrative that leveraged our combined forces to accelerate evolution within global implantology and better serve our customers across more than 90 countries.

From donating event ticket sales to completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge alongside the Henry Schein Cares CSR event, to date, our (ever-growing!) donation of time and money stands at £41,779. This has helped provide the crucial resources needed to implement and sustain the charity programmes.
